Turkish giants Galatasaray have just over 24 hours to complete the signing of Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo.

The Brazilian international has spent the last two campaigns on loan at Galatasaray, a club who have the right to sign him outright for €6.5m.

However, that option is only valid until April 30 and whispers in Turkey suggest that the outfit will allow that deadline to pass.

The 29-year-old was netted by the Turin giants in July 2009 from Fiorentina for a fee in the region of €25m.

If Galatasaray don’t do a deal then Melo will return to Turin where he will presumably be placed on the transfer list.

he's so good that even galatasaray don't even want to pay up  God i really hope he joins a rival turkish club

Gala has acted really cheaply in this deal. We shouldn't have offered him on another loan to them. He's definitely worth 6-8m. Maybe use him as a bargaining chip for the striker if nothing else.

You can only sell him for a good fee if a) a club will pay it, and b) the player wants to go there. Galatasaray won't pay it, and so far Melo keeps choosing them.

Fuking bastards....
but in the end is our own fault for eing unable to sell players, and to bow down to the wishes of gala.
