Him having a say in where he does or does not want to play doesn't make him a fucker. But yeah, Russian clubs will overpay to convince players to join them. I think we all know that.

6 million is a good deal for me. What was the other option? Loaning him again for a season? Honestly, I saw a Tiago, Amauri, Grosso,... scenario coming up.
Well, fuck me sideways. I knew it all along, Cronios style

According to SKy it's 1/1.5 mil now for a loan and 6/7 mil at the end of the year.(i hope it's not a option)

so summing al together this year's loan plus those probable numbers we got for him ~9mil...
It's an option which will not be used by Galatasaray. Their President declared it that Melo is too ''unstable'' to get long term contract.

It also says that we could offer him a contract extension. His current contract expires in 2014 and he's earning around 3-3.5m eur a year. It says that we will offer him a new contract that expires in 2015, with lower wages, of course. My guess is instead of 2 years x 3.5m eur, he will have 3 years left on his contract x 2.3m a year, or something close to that.

Financially it's more or less the same for Juve, but this way next year he won't be in his last year of the contract and we might still have a chance to sell. We'll also be spreading the amortization which is actually the main reason for giving him a new contract, according to the article from tuttojuve.

P.S: If there are others here like myself, who have no idea what does "spreading the amortization" mean, then check this:http://www.ehow.com/about_5256347_amortization-expense.html
:p
