He was on 3.5M, will now make 2.5M in his new deal with Gala. So he was banking some pretty good coin.

Deal with Fiorentina ended up being 25M (18.5 + Marchionni @4.5M + Zanetti @ 2M), amortization on his 5 year deal puts his value at 10M right now. What did they pay us for the loan? 1.5? So by accounting standards, the target number was probably something like 8.5M, and we got 7M. C'est la vie - everyone knew when the loan happened that Gala wasn't going to pay that 13M.

I think the money to get the top Striker is there, but we had to sell to thin the wages back abit. Hopefully Zielger goes so Armero can come and Pazienza.
