Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo has placed a high value on playing for Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid, but admits he may have to wait a while to fulfil his ambition.
Despite being unaware of reported interest from Madrid, Melo is impressed by suggestions he is wanted by the 'Special One'.
He recently questioned the quality of his Juventus colleagues, fuelling speculation he could leave with Real Madrid seemingly his first-choice destination.
"I think he [Mourinho] is the best in the world, and if my idol is looking for me, then of course I am happy," he is quoted as saying by Il Corriere dello Sport.
"[But] of the Real Madrid interest I don't know anything. I read about this news in the papers, and if they were to become true then I would be happy as I am Mourinho's number one fan."
The 27-year-old Brazil international is tied to Juve until 2014 following his move from Fiorentina in 2009.
However, while he is in no rush to leave the Old Lady, he will consider a Liga return in future as he underlined his position.
"If I was to leave Juventus I would like to return to Spain. The Premier League would also fascinate me. But, all this is far as I have a contract with Juventus.
"However, you never say never in football as things often change fast."
