Marchisio - Melo - Momo - Aquilani

best MF quartet in the world.
When does the new FM manager come out? :weee:

I won't need to spend heavily to stack my midfield, only to bring Gio back though!
We shouldn't allow more Goal articles on this board, like before.
Why? Some people's posts here are much more insane than goal.com so should we go ahead and ban them too and their philosophies?

You don't have to read or agree with goal.com and if you see something posted here you don't have to acknowledge it. You do, however, have to give goal.com credit for giving us somethings to either talk or complain about.:D

Because they are crap, that's why.

You simply can't compare members who post insane posts with a football journalism website such as Goal. These journalists are paid to make these crap articles, members in here aren't more than just football fans.

I agree with those saying that playing simple passes as a CM is important. Keeps the rhythm of the team going, didn't make any mistakes to set the opposition up for a goal, and Marchisio scored on Sunday so his job was well done.

This.

The team has to play so that simple passing is allowed. The problem is that with the straight 4-4-2, you end up having to make a lot of long passes in central midfield as they become isolated. Either that, or we lose our width.

Which solution do we want?

I think with Marchisio surging forward like we know he can and Aquilani staying healthy with his passing ability we would be fine having krasic/pepe staying wide. We have plent of speed now, and I know traore gives people headaches here but I wouldn't mind seeing his pace to use on the wing.

What is better: charging around 60 yards to little of no effect or effectively running 10 yards?

I don't understand why people don't give credit for good positional play and ball retention, but are all desperate to praise players who run around all day, show passion and make lots of mistakes.
one word

Deschamps:touched:

not thast Marchisio is the shit on his boots i must say

That's an easy one: passionate, conspicuous players are preferred over calm, inconspicuous players.

And again I read that Marchisio did NOTHING for the team, yet I am the one who was being labelled as an unfair judge. Nice.
Marchisio was quiet but i do not buy that he is a box-to-box midfield dynamo

besides my opinion about Marchisio has nothing to do with my distrust of Melo on that performance

Melo wont the ball so many times, so many times.

His "brainfart" was a slip, thats all he lost his footing.
how may times was he holding onto the ball too long, how many times did he misplace a pass, how many times did you shout at the TV because he was aimlessly wandering through the middle of the park with someone tearing along behind him almost dispossessing him? because i tell you,the first 20 minutes i was shitting myself evertime he got near the ball

like i say it would be interesting to see what the reaction would be if that "brainfart" had cost a goal...or any of the other gaffs he made, trust me a better teal WILL punish us for those mistakes

that is true but he had a horrible 1st half...if i go down to the commentary thread where i wrote with jack i will count like at least 10 wrong passes from him.
:tup:all i am looking for here is an objective reaction, but nigger be trippin round here

FUUUUUUCK! i think i just changed my mind
