Sounds like making a mountain out of a molehill. He wears 88 at Fiorentina, right? Was there no outrage at that?
Is this not getting to you? What is so difficult about this? It's really really easy:

There's a sort of negative experience with 88. It WILL provoke discussion. This is not good. You want to focus on playing football. It is easier to change the number than to win every discussion. Play with 86. Play with 68. If it really is only a number, which is what you're claiming, it should be easy to play with another number too.

I think it's retarded to seriously thihnk that Felipe Melo is saluting Hitler because he chooses to wear the #88. I know what you are saying, I completely understand, I just think it's nonsense. If the club allows numbers that high, he should be free to choose to wear the number he wants which is available.

Striking the #88 is like surrendering it to the Nazis anyways. This is the kind of crap they live for.

But I'm not saying he's saluting Hitler. You have once again missed the point. And yeah, great victory of the Nazis: they've managed to strike one number. Kudos.

I don't think you believe Melo is a Hitler fan, but the people who let his choice of number upset them, because some idiot Neo-Nazi douchebags attach Heil Hitler to it, is just fuckin' retarded.

A black nazi does not make sense. Oxymoron.
Nationsocialism and other forms of facist theories could and have also been popular in some African countries. Just because you're black doesn't mean that you can't be a facist.

"In 2004, the Young Patriots of Abidjan, strongly nationalist organisation, rallied by the State media, plundered possessions of foreign nationals in Abidjan. Calls for violence against whites and non-Ivorians were broadcast on national radio and TV after the Young Patriots seized control of its offices. Rapes, beatings, and murders of white expatriates and local Lebanese followed."

Now let's end this discussion :sergio: . I also doubt Melo is a racist because he wears a shirt associated with a Hitler chant by some people.

They are no Nazis in the popular sense of the word though.

Seriously, who gives a f*ck? Let's talk about Melo who's gonna be "official" very soon.

He's taking #4 and that's it.
This discussion was (again!) non-sense! Thanks for finishing it;)

Marchionni is official...I think Melo should soon be official too..
