I was doing that because B81 is not here right now, it felt empty otherwise.

I don't endorse this transfer, ftr, because I don't think we need anyone else for the left side.

Still, I certainly won't be throwing up and smashing my keyboard if he signs. Totally indifferent to what kind of impact this guy could have, he'd be a Padoin multi-purpose player for the left side. Another Estigarribia.

LB: De Ceglie, Chiellini, Caceres
LWB: Asamoah, De Ceglie, Giaccherini, Padoin

Why do we always have to go to extremes? :p
Because it would be retarded to buy him. I'd rather stick with De Ceglie and Asamoah (Caceres and Padoin can also fill that spot). We have PLENTY of players who can play there, so signing a mediocre guy who is 28 years old is stupid. You know what's even worse? I bet we'd offer him 4-5 year contract and of course we'll be stuck with him forever.

Surely we'd be stuck with him for 4-5 years?

Padoin didn't even play and we paid a decent amount of cash for him and offered him 5 year contract. It was an unnecessary transfer and exactly what would Peluso be as well, because they don't improve our squad at all. Estigarribia was at least loan/cheap.

Oh, very funny.

Seems like Marrotta has an agreement for Peluso, but he still wants Armero and will make another attempt to sign the columbian from Udine. The issue is jot the price, it's the terms of agreement. Beppe wants a loan, Udine want a co/own, outright sale.

There's no point in trying to sign Armero if he's already registered in Udinese's CL squad..Atleast i'd want him to be available for CL as well..

He would only be unavailable if they qualify, and if he plays, or something like that. If we buy him before the second leg of their qualifier then he's free to play for us in the CL. Its just Udine playing hardball on the formula for sale. I can see Marrotta bowing down to a co-own.

honestly, i can't say anything about this player as I've never noticed him on the pitch. But his age, current squad and the fact that i've never noticed him doesn't speak volumes in his favor.
