I don't like having players like Padoin and Peluso either, but I won't lose sleep over Conte's wish to have his boys with him in Juve.

I'm convinced that both players are Conte's demand. He was the one who gave the chance to Peluso in serie A and played him regularly. Same is for Padoin who was irreplaceable in Conte's Atalanta. I guess Conte knows that both aren't good enough to make Juve better, but he knows what kind of persons they are and he knows them as grateful and hard working players who probably suit his philosophy and who will do good for the group's unity and team atmosphere. After all, Juve's history is full with mediocre hard working Italians, who never minded the bench and were always there to step on the pitch when needed, despite their technical disadvantages.
    From Conte's interview today:

"I wouldn't swap Padoin, Giacccherini, Caceres and Marrone with anyone. They don't protest when they don't play and always give everythng"

Juves built on hard working players. Players who commit themselves to the team. If peluso is willing to bust him arse every second on that pitch for Juve them I'm sure he will do fine till chiellini returns. Ppl don't like Padoin but honestly this year he has impressed me. He is never going to be a superstar but when coming off the bench he has improve play. I said it before he beats his marker quite well. His passing in tight paces has improved and he's creating space for himself. Can't ask for more from this man. Conte knows best when it comes to what type of players he wants.

I'm sure Conte know best, but every coach and sporting director makes mistakes. We don't always have to agree with their decisions, even if we must appreciate the players once they don our jersey, simply because they are then players of Juventus.

Conte is not picking up these guys because he thinks they have Messi's quality hidden somewhere inside them FFS.

Define a "mistake" if he knows why he's buying them and gets what he expects. He expects professionals that will train hard every day, be serviceable when called upon, cause no problems, help team chemistry, speak the same language, support their teammates and keep quiet when they are not playing. These guys all do that.

Peluso will STFU for the rest of eternity and then when he's called upon to play he will be ok. That is good enough for me.

    :agree: Merry Christmas Bro :malt:

In any case, it doesn't matter what we want, and no one is claiming they know best, but there is no harm in voicing concern/displeasure at a particular acquisition now, is there? ;)

This guy will be new Grosso if he strikes the winning penalty in CL final.
compared to what we have right now grosso was actually not that bad. he just was not a good defender, but he had a nice free kick and scored some very nice goals for us. definitely better than de ceglie.

he surely scored a few occasions where the mighty matri did blast the ball over the bar regularily

    or this nice strike
