sure he made some stupid mistakes but he was 4th choice CB being forced to play as first choice.

if you look at his stats he was among top 5 in interceptions and headers on in serie a. not bad for 4th choice player who was serie b 4 years ago

Basically our main starting CB pair for 24/25 season, in theory they are a good match even if none of them excel at passing it out from the back, even better if they get along off the pitch too as it could maybe help a bit their understanding on the pitch also.
