i don't mind having gatti around as a squad player, as i said multiple times i like his attitude, and he's not half as bad as tuz often portrays him. funny how he's bad at defending but especially great at almost everything else lol. anyway, if newcastle really offered anything close to that rumored 30m, it wouldn't be hard to let him go

Motta is gonna get to the pass completion percentage and immediately put him on the transfer block.

i know you're joking but i don't think that his overall passing is terrible. defenders usually pass to the closest team mate, hence the avg competition of around 90% for them. now, gatti is top tier in forward passing, which is obviously more risky than the usual bonucci to chiellini to barza to buffon to bonucci passing jj defenders are used to.

gatti is a bit slow in his thinking and prone to brainfarts, that's his main limitation. the basics are there. no wonder he was the defender of the year in a slower league. i do think that he'd be a fairly useful conte player

Shitposting aside im not a gatti hater. Hes nothing special but i see his value, and I love his grinta. But if I had to choose between him and huijsen its no real decision. So if one of those prem clubs actually wanna offer 20M+ for him…

I’m a one man army here, keep Gatti.

For Thiago Motta, Gatti is important because he covers two roles (centre-back and full-back) but also because he has that motivational energy that he showed during these two years at Juventus. The club has rejected offers from the Premier League and will continue to refuse in the future.

Wouldn’t mind eventually keeping him as a backup, but would be very surprised if we were to actually turn down offers exceeding €20M, just can’t see it happening, although i can maybe imagine Gatti himself refusing to leave.

He doesn't seem the type that would stay if he is asked to leave.

More in the sense that he maybe doesn’t like the terms or destination we want to send him to.

I see that as more likely than us turning down big offers for him.

I don't think any team is going to offer 30mln for him anyway and for 20mln or less I can totally see Juve deciding to keep him.
