I'd still take Chiesa over the big financial investment made in NIco Gonzalez.

At least Chiesa is healthy enough to start his rehab with their U21's. Can't say the same about Nico, who is a complete gimp.

Tbf he more or less asked for it by delaying the renewal negotiations and overrating himself, sad in a sense but also quite funny to see how quickly he has gone from being a pampered star here to now struggling while playing with Liverpool’s U21 reserves…
It was not far from expectation, actually, The player just returned from injury and inconsistent for a period of time, suddenly go to the most physically demanding league.

What rehab are you talking about? He hasn't been injured, he just sucks.

"Diogo Jota and Federico Chiesa have barely featured for the Reds this season due to injuries. The pair have made just 13 combined appearances between them as Slot has had to rely on Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz, and Darwin Nunez for the past few months.

Chiesa has been out of action since late September, with only three appearances to his name so far this season, having joined the Reds from Juventus in the summer.
The 27-year-old marked another step in his recovery by featuring in Liverpool’s U21 clash against FC Nordsjaelland last week."

Well, he did appear in two official games for Liverpool after which he was mysteriously called unfit and hit the stands. There was no report of an injury as far as I am concerned.
