Chiesa seems intent on staying for now, possibly reopening the renewal talks.

His father, Enrico, is now taking the lead in trying to mend the strained relationship between his son and the club, which has deteriorated significantly in recent months.

@tuttosport
Tuttosport so probably bullshit. But a Chiesa - Vlahovic - Gonzalez attack would be hilarious. Imagine those purple rats' faces :D

Close to 200 million euros right there (or more if you add bernadeski money), how come Fiorentina as a club hasn't improved with all that money doping from JJ?

Their management and transfer directors must be better at embezzlement than ours @Turk_Bianconero

Even if he decided to extend for that 1yr extra on the same salary or something, he would play a marginal role next season because we wouldn't have any interest in playing him since he'll be gone anyways. It would also raise questions on the player's motivation and what impact this whole situation would have on the rest of the squad. To sum this all up, sell his sorry ass ASAP.

They did play two Conference League finals in a row while regularly qualifying for EL/Conference spots too, for them that’s a huge achievement on it’s own which they likely wouldn’t have managed without the mercatto funds from us.

Juve sure deserves some credit for Fiorentina’s stability as a club.

Rocco Fucko will still spend every waking moment thinking about how Juve operate at a loss.

Commisso is probably still bitter that we wouldn’t let him invest in Juve and instead we sent him to Firenze to become a feeder club for us… but is now having the last laugh seeing how we struggle financially while still sending big transfer fee’s his way.

Unless we bring in two proper starting quality wingers then we need to work out a renewal with Chiesa, meet him halfway on his wage demands and focus on the other glaring needs of the squad, we just can’t go into the season with only Yildiz, Weah and Nico(if it actually materializes) as our starting wingers, or a last minute panic buy ala ElShaarawy to temporarily patch the wounds, this wingers situation needs to be resolved ASAP.

Right now, the rumor is this: They buy Nico G first. If they can't sell Chiesa, he'll go to the stand, they'll loan Conceicao or similar profiles. If they can sell Chiesa, they'll try for Sancho-level winger. It seems the board won't back down from their stance. Let's see how this saga developed :oops2:

club was willing to renew rabiot for 7.5m per season plus millions in signing bonus to his mother agent

but is unwilling to renew chiesa for 2m increase on his salary.

disgusting behaviour from a disgusting club. i am ashamed of what this club has become.

Enrico #Chiesa, the father of Federico, would be trying to mend fences with #Juventus. He is acting like a bonding agent between the son and la Vecchia Signora. It will not be an easy job considering the months of misunderstanding on the contract renewal of the player born in 1997. The will of the player would seem to be to stay at #Juve, as he declared publicly a few months ago. And so now dad Enrico is working on it, but it certainly won't be an easy task. Looks indeed unlikely that the board will change their stance on this one but time is running out and they will soon be forced to take some tough decisions.

Rabiot had more impact than Chiesa over the last 2 years. Chiesa had 1 great season and then spent the next 2 recovering, with a good game every now and then, severely lacking consistency. His performances don't warrant him salary increase. Ofc Rabiot would be considered more valuable. However, I'm glad we got rid of the latter. I also hope you are trolling with this shit as you do with a 4th goallie.

ok no troling this is me being serious :

Since no club is willing to make offer or he will reject any offers , the best option now it to play him.

Say he has a killer season then the money he is asking for insignificant for a club like juve to renew him.

hes never going to to inter or Milan or Napoli because they will never be able to match the wages offered by hive if he performs well. If he doesn’t then yes that’s the risk he to lose him on a free.

the only threat would be foreign club. and since all top clubs stacked the only threat would be Barca which we can match wages with easily or Bayern who could outmatch wages offered by juve

so the conclusion is he has to play. Not playing him is not beneficial to juve right now. Weak and yildiz cannot compare to what he brings.

If he changes his mind, renew for atleast one year extension till 2026. Will give a chance to sell after a good season, rather than now when no big clubs interested to sign him.

I don't understand the rush to get anything done. Just let the process play out.

Chiesa wants to stay (and has the power to do so), and Juve don't seem committed to him. Give him the first few months of the season to prove his value to the club under a new coach. If he performs well, start up talks about about a new contract.

if he doesn't convince, try to sell him in the winter or just let him leave for free after the year.

It's not like he's a big money ticket they'd be letting leave for nothing. The rumored asking price right now is €15 million.

This entire saga just seems ridiculous from all parties ---- the club, Chiesa and his team, and the fans.

it doesn't work like that. next year juve has to pay 16m to fund a the 4th goalie. they will have to sell bremer for 50m to fund the deal and then waste 65m on scalvini.
