According to Corriere dello sport The offer juve made to Chiesa to extend his contract is for 4,5M per year wich is much less of what he wants
Yeah well its about right for what he deserves based on his form this past year. Take it or leave it.

Apparently, Roma pulled out and only Man Utd would meet his wage demands.

Another Source stated that : Chiesa is expected to sign a long-term deal with Roma for €30 million.

What I want to fucking know is how Roma literally didnt have a pot to piss in last season, all of a sudden you'd think some rich Sheikh bought them out and gave them some endless pot of gold.

Are you really that dense? Yeah we will sell most of those bums, but here’s the difference

1) Chiesa’s sale will bring more than selling those bums combined
2) He is on high wages
3) his contract expires next season- so if he doesn’t renew, we risk losing him on free

Best case scenario for me is that he renews.but him dragging things out certainly doesn’t help us to plan our mercato.
Am I really that dense? No. My post was more just mocking you in general.

i think i know why we try to sell him
with this hard training method in Juve, it reminds me of antonio pintus training method now in Madrid.
The fact that in this kind of method in nowadays football, Madrid and bologna gain from player high endurance during the game. But the side effect is the player prone to get horrible injury, like Ferguson, Rudiger, and Curtois who got ACL torn last year.

On the other hand, with Chiesa's injury history these past years, maybe Motta doesn't convince that he can endure the season well without much sidelines.

On the contrary; harder training sessions and therefor better physical conditions have the reverse effect on injuries. But one must know when to rest too (players themselves and staff) and that is where pro football makes many mistakes nowadays.

Basically what other club thinking 50m for his 5 year wages before tax, on free transfer

Wages and injuries, His value market has dropped because of constant injuries. It's pretty obvious only mediocre clubs show interest in him and it's quite logical that they offer a low price. Barca, Real & Bayern have zero interest in him.

I know the timing was tough between the Euros (and not knowing when Italy would be eliminated) and the start of preseason for Juventus, but it's kind of weird to schedule your wedding at a time when none of your teammates can go to it.

Although maybe that's the genius of it to prevent awkwardness. Invite none of them rather than only inviting a few of them.
