I dont believe any of the Italian media. They are so laughably bad and either report both sides so they're automatically correct, or have reports that are just wrong. i try to use common sense and logic when looking at rumors --- and most of the Chiesa rumors since the season ended make little sense.
Well, he's on his last year of the contract so obviously something is going on. If both sides were in accordance, he would have renewed long time ago. After a season and Euros like that he obviously isn't the first choice for clubs who can afford his salary demands and the transfer fee. Time works in his favor as those clubs might become desperate and go for him. However, it's a scenario that doesn't favor Juventus who don't want to find themselves with their back at the wall with the summer transfer window closing. It's also possible that with the shortage of decent offers, Chiesa wants to run down his contract increasing his chances for a higher salary from a new club.

Seeing that we seem to be back on our feet again with the new area sport led by Giuntoli, Chiesa will have to take our interest into consideration as well because his career might be as good as finished if he wastes another year.

Agresti reported that a meeting with Ramadani was scheduled after the Euros so let's just wait and see.

Played 90% of games with us out of position.

Jihadiball ruined one of the biggest talents Italy had in the last 10 years.

If Giuntoli sells him to Roma I hope he wins CL with them just to prove him wrong, lul.

He played the risk of requesting a high salary and banking on the euro for him to shine so richer clubs would come waving the big cash at him. This didn't happen...he overestimated his worth and it is now biting him on the ass.

It happened with Dybala, now Chiesa. I just hope Giuntoli has the brains to maximise sales before it is too late.

Odds that he re signs? I wonder if our old deal for him is still on the table or will we come back lower?
might be wrong of course but this situation looks like an other dybala story to me: club had enough of the fitness issues, agent plays games, player would want to stay, but it is over

on one hand i still like the player and believe in his abilities, but on the other it's good to see that the club isn't bending over and pushes towards a much more sustainable wage bill. with jj it's always the replacements that are tougher to digest, not the good-byes, so i hope we end up with an overall better squad when this overhaul ends

Guintoli going to lowball hard this time
well played toli if it works. he sent ramadani fishing for offers, agent apparently came back empty handed, so their best offer might be a lowball offer from jj. this is the reality check i mentioned, and i don't mind if the club doesn't close the door like they did with dybala

btw i'm all for keeping chiesa for an other 2 seasons on lower wages. he can be lethal in an attacking setup

lol what risk? And how is anything biting him in the ass?

He banked on the Euro to shine so richer clubs would come after him? lol. What are you talking about? He literally said after the season he planned to stay at Juvetnus and would talk with management over the summer about his contract. He dad publicly said the same thing.

Maybe if you use common sense and dont believe rumors like "Chiesa is demanding high wages from Juventus and will leave for Roma or Napoli if he doesnt get them," you wouldnt be shocked on how this is playing out right now.

It's amazing how stupid people are and believe every rumor they read.

And Giuntoli cant "maximise" any sale with Chiesa without him agreeing to it. They can threaten to send him to the stands and not play him, but he's still Juve's best wing and we arent talented enough to do something like that. You want to play guys like Kostic or Weah over him consistently to prove a point, good luck.
