I just want to see the world burn so... here:

Di Marzio reporting that Chiesa wants to go into training camp with Juventus and evaluate his future calmly, he also reports that the club has never offered him a contract renewal
Yes, he wants to go into camp and make us sell Soule for a reduced bid. After that, he will "evaluate his future" and leave on a free transfer next year.

So, we're doubly screwed!

Oh yeah because he's messi all of a sudden... his attempts to draw out interest from Europe's biggest clubs failed spectacularly... he should have accepted his reality that his current salary is not so bad considering all that Juve gave to him all these years. If he were to stay, he's got work to do to regaine the fan's trust.

Dude wants to stay obviously... the PR of Giuntoli is making it seems that he is difficult and that made 90% of the fanbase hate his guts just because some paid jurnos wrote that he does not want to renew or some similar bullshit.

This is one of those things where we're getting into semantics of these reports.

Di Marzio says Juve "never offered Chiesa a contract renewal." If the reports/translations were correct, Chiesa said after the Coppa Italia win that he's talked with the club about a renewal and would talk again in the summer (which would be after the Euros).

So they may not have "officially offered" him an extension and put it on paper, but I'm sure talks were had and numbers/ideas were exchanged.

I dont believe any of the Italian media. They are so laughably bad and either report both sides so they're automatically correct, or have reports that are just wrong. i try to use common sense and logic when looking at rumors --- and most of the Chiesa rumors since the season ended make little sense.

So now because it seems like we have to keep Chiesa because nobody wants his Nancy Kerrigan ass, we will be forced to accept massively reduced bids for Matias Soule. 25M?????

thanks a lot fatass!
This doesn't even make sense though, the presence of one asset wouldn't devalue another just by being there.

I'm the silent investor
When will we be having preseason games in Baghdad and Fallujah?

Who's making these

Sarebbe la scelta giusta. Juventus is the best option for him currently. Going to clubs like Napoli or Roma would be a clear downgrade with a risk of never getting back on track seeing he's already 27. Whereas Juve is in a reconstruction phase which seemingly is finely getting momentum with a promising young coach like Thiago Motta and encouraging transfer campaign so far which sees redundant players finely being shipped and replaced with young and interesting players. Not to mention we're back in the CL and be playing club WC.
Taking that 1yr extension to prove himself wouldn't be a step back but a side step at worst. Have a good season and he'll get a new long term contract from Juve or some serious clubs from abroad will show interest. Unless he's afraid he will never regain his form again and wants to grab that last decent contract now before he's found out. If that's the case then good riddance.
I love how you randomly throw in Italian phrases every now and again lmao.

In my economically view is better to get something from him, release some budget for his pretty big salary. If we can get something around 25m+ some bonuses. This mean around 35-40m including his wage and bonus that we save and can spend elsewhere

If we keep him and let him go for free like Dybala, is he really worth 35-40m for his last season? Imagine how the news about him surrounding question if he extended or go for free will affect the team whole year long. All in all we will be in lost lost situation. If we extend him and resulted in not getting Koopmeiners, I will think that as a lose situation. Because for me Koop will give significantly goal contribution than Chiesa and unlock Vlahovic

With Motta, putting Soule on the right and Yildiz on the left create a more balance between both side and if both are explode and injury free we can see both player fold their valuation. We can get young, energetic and hungry players with bigger ceiling to improve for some years to come. If player like Ndoye, Orsolini and Shoesmaker can implement what Motta ask from them, I just don't see that Soule and Yildiz cant do it, technically both are better

If we can get Koopmeiners half up the pitch is secured. Some movement in Winter transfer and next season to replace Bremer(release clause) and Danilo (end contract). Our focuses will be the defense line
