Chiesa would be committing a career suicide if he goes to Napoli. No Europe, apparently a worse contract, and having to deal with dictators like Conte and ADL who won't take his shit either... he's gotta realize that he has it better here than anywhere else (especially in italy).
Maybe he wants to be a big fish :boh:

I think his agent is playing games tbh

I highly doubt Chiesa would leave us for another Italian club
Or the rumors were true that Motta really doesn’t fancy him.

In this case what option does he have? No big club is after him, and I doubt he’ll go to West Ham, so Napoli is a realistic choice.

Would be a terrible decision by Chiesa to miss another season of Champions league football. I also don't think we should sell one of our most talented players to another Serie A club. Especially not at a discounted price.

It's a messy situation because of his Injury and his contract running out. Do we take a chance that he will find consistent form a again? It do we cash out now before we lose him for free.

Time will tell.

Anxious to see how Chiesa does in Euros. If he plays well maybe Motta/Juve management reconsider letting him leave? Might just be having a better technical manager for him along with better players especially mids around him.

Although seeing around 11M gross and 6M net which surprised me that much of a contract. Going by that means Juve didn't get their money's worth. Though injury affected his play and possibly might never be the same? Euros hopefully give us a better yes/no to that?.

I looked up some advanced stats for Chiesa and showed should have had more than 9 goals and 2 assists. Definitely recalled some shots that surprised he didn't score and possibly those failed assists were from Juve players that couldn't hit the side of a barn.

I recently watched a video of his season highlights and it's not surprising he only had 2 assists. I literally laughed out loud at some of the blown chances by his teammates in this video --- and that's not to excuse Chiesa, who also isnt exactly elite at finishing either

Beginning to accept that he may leave. My favourite player on the team, but his numbers do not justify the demands he's making.

Maybe he should extend his contract for a year and revisit talks next summer.

Or if he wants to go, let him.
I have the same. I want him to stay but if he’s getting greedy than I understand selling him.

We’re in the speculation phase though, a week ago Motta didn’t want him and now he’s greedy.

Chiesa isn't the first and won't be the last good player we sell...all depends on the plan to replace him..be it directly or just play a game that doesn't require him. Whatever it may be.

The thing that shits me is that once again we will miss out on maximising the sale, as we did with dybala. We offer higher salaries undeservedly to other players in the team. We don't have the money to buy someone better. We have soule who realistically could be a solution, yet we are pimping him out to every club we can....all this without a new manager stepping foot in the door.

If he's leaving then it's not happening until after the Euros so rest easy Jj fans. At least Junes can get a better price after Italy crashes out

I'm not even sure what "playing games" means here. Chiesa has stated he wants to stay at Juventus. His dad said he's happy at Juventus and expects things to go well moving forward. Where is the game playing outside of doing what every player/agent does in trying to make the most money possible in negotiating a contract? There are no cryptic messages here or rumors being leaked. They went on the record and said that stuff.

If anything, Juve are the ones playing games right now. The reports in the media are Thiago Motta doesnt rate him and he could be sold if he wants too much money.

We dont know what's true and what's not in regards to these rumors. But objectively, if you're reading the media reports, it's easy to see who's "playing games" through the media right now.

I'm sure Chiesa and his agent will talk with Motta/Guintoli once Italy are out of the Euros and they'll go from there.
