One thing I just noticed: look at where he starts his run for Italy’s goal. He’s near the Italian box but sprints all the way to the Spanish box in time to take the shot.

Yep they highlighted this when they were previewing the final yesterday and said he’s our danger player.

The way he has developed over the last 12 months has been quite something, he was always a talent but it’s his application and mental development that’s quite staggering. Sky really is the limit for Chiesa, I hope he keeps this up because I see him cementing a legacy in stripes

On a side note..how good was his dad? Italy were spoilt back then...guns like chiesa played second fiddle to totti and del piero.
A really good forward. Would easily get a game in this Azzurri side but just born in an era of plenty of top strikers. He scored at Euro 96.

I remember him always scoring against us.

Ridiculous amount of talent in serie A....people talk about the EPL being the best league...but it doesn't and hasn't produced anywhere near the same amount of talent that serie A had for 20 plus years. Looking back at the juve, milan squads..even lazio back in the early 2000s...I met that team at Heathrow airport...I was coming back home...seriously they had 20 absolute guns standing next to each other. I was like a fat kid in a candy store. Even though I was 21 yrs old at the time. Lol.
