Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for the Cuadrado experience. Chiesa needs to be on the right flank. Juan can go back to the role he’s meant for; squad player.
they don't even play the same position mate

demiral replaced cuadrado, chiesa played in kulu's position. cuadrado and chiesa could easily coexist on the right

what lol Demiral replaced Danilo and Chiesa replaced Cuadrado. The only way they would realistically coexist is if you benched Danilo, and that’s obviously not happening anytime soon.

Sampdoria (F): —
Crotone: assist

Kiev: assist, goal

and there are juventini that think Cuadrado is a better option. Your dislikes won’t make you any less idiotic LOL.

Really good game today. Goal and assist was just part of the story, he was always involved and was a really positive influence on the right hand side. Has had a solid if unspectacular start to his career at Juve, but last night was his breakout performance. Well done Fede.

i don't remember cuadrado playing rw in the 4-4-2 defensive shape since the opening game vs samp. after some experiments on the left (vs roma and maybe kiev iirc), in the defensive 4-4-2, cuadrado was the right back since months now, and kulu mostly played in front of him on the same side. tonight demiral was the right back, chiesa the right winger, and a pretty effective one at it. cuadrado could have easily played tonight in demiral's position (rb in defensive shape, his position for the last games).

Neither replaced Cuadrado, Demiral replaced Danilo's role and Chiesa swutched his flank in his same role. The one that replaced Cuadrado was Alex Sandro.

Pirlo plays the asymmetric 442/3412, one of the fullbacks stays back as a hybrid CB (Danilo) while the other pushes up much more as midfielder (Cuadrado) but still folds back into the backline of 4 in defense. Chiesa was NOT playing this role, he was defending the second line of 4 with the midfielders, its the exact same role he always plays but switched sides.

He switched sides because Pirlo change the side of the the attacking fullback. Instead of Cuadrado on the right, it was Alex Sandro on the left. So the RB must stay as a defensive RB/CB, this was Demiral, not Chiesa obviously, usually Danilo's role.

Chiesa always plays as a winger, which is good, he should be used a fullback like the others. He is clearly better on the right as well.

If we play 343, cuadrado should be able to play behind Chiesa, so i dont see a problem with both on the field.

IN fact it would help cuadrado a lot since we could let chiesa do what he did today and cuadrado support him from behind, using his energy more for covering and helping the defense.

perfectly put, i only meant replacements for the respective positions on the pitch

and i do think chiesa could play on the same side as the attacking fullback

Kiev; Morata has the assist ;). Funny you, not even using Cuadrado's stats, which are very similar. He had 3 denied assists against Barca alone. Instead of Chiesa's list of minnows (for now).

And I like what Chiesa has been doing btw. But Cuads is one of our most important players and Chiesa can not replace him. He doesn't have the engine for it.

It seems apparent to me that chiesa is better on the right than the left, same as kulu and cuadrado plays there too

the problem is there’s nobody else outside of Sandro. Thanks Tici!
Pirlo himself wanted to trust frabotta instead of going for that waste gash Emerson. Besides we got correira waiting in the wings, only a matter of time I feel

:andyandbarcelona:

and yeah it was Moratas assist, that’s why he got credited for it (even though Chiesa did all the work.) Too bad Chiesa got credit for another one though huh?

and how is 0 goals and 4 assists in 10 appearances on the right flank similar to 2 goals and 4 assists in 6?
