I’m not giving up on him this early I’ll give him till at least January but I was underwhelmed tonight he don’t show anything

even when Krasic was at his worst he would still do some wild shit that had potential to be great

you guys remember Krasic it’s been a while since he has been mentioned on the forum :vdp:

Looked completely out of his depth and what was most worrying was that he turned into a player without any confidence to play his usual game on the big stage.

I thought he'd have a bit more self belief but was Bernardeschi-esque in his choices to go backwards at times when there were opportunities to take a man on or have a shot. In Serie A I'm confident he would have had a go, which is disappointing. He should have relished the opportunity to go up against Sergi Roberto who is not a great defender, especially when he got a yellow the first time he had a go.
He is one of the youngest and newest players in the team where everyone was shit. I place less responsibility on him than most of the rest.

Very worrying indeed. Still early, but that price tag might weigh on him.

He's not a highly technical player. People who expect that are going to be disappointed. Most things he does are quite reactive and rushed but you need to actually involve him. I noticed him after about 25 minutes in this game, the ball didn't see his side before that and it didn't happen too often after.

Expecting Dybala to run the attack when he's not game sharp was just stupid. Kulu being misused as well.

Our season really depends on how quickly Pirlo finds a solution for this front 7 players. As it stands you have Morata looking sharp and Ronaldo is almost a guarantee, but the other 5 you almost shoe-horn in behind them.

People really need to relax in this forum. Every thread its melt downs, over a Dybala 2nd start in 3 months (no fitness or confidence, tho yes plays like a pussy in big moments), a Chiesa with 2nd Career CL game and 3rd Juve game (not shocking he isnt a technical player that will struggle without space), same with Kulusevski, Demiral threads etc.

We are a mess of a team, and its mainly due to injuries/inexperience and an extremely novice coach who seems to have no clue so far. Being so defenite doom about most of our players is bit much. I'm fine with with our attacking players, but besides our coach what truly worries me is our CMs, not a single one looks like he can be top quality (even if the lack of gameplan and 2 CMs exposing them even more).

I think that's why some aren't fans, along with how the deal was completed.

Agree, especially with the Kulu and Demiral threads.

Can he play equally good on both flanks? What's his natural position?
He is a natural a traditional right winger. He likes going wide to cross or move in channels in direct style with pace, excells at counters. He is not your typical skilfull in small spaces inside fake winger/forward that primarily cuts in (the typical winger nowadays). Tho he is good at beating his man and shooting with space and momentum (just don't play him too central). Operates at his best in wide spaces, not just in trio attack but 4-4-2 too.

The plan is to have Kulu play at Ramsey position and let Chiesa play at his natural position but so far Kulu is still on the right wing and Chiesa on the left because Fabrotta is not good enough for Pirlo. When Alex Sandro comes back, let's see how Pirlo field Kulu and Chiesa together. In the meantime, our flimsy MF could have improved with Aouar (I'm not even a fan of him).

This is exactly how i would play those 2.

I hope pirlo does this after his experimental phase is over. Kulu middle and xhiesa on the right supporting morata and ronaldo is the way to go

I don't think he was bad, it was just strange to me that nobody was looking for him.
I think that he will bring fluidity in right wing and create more goals and assists by the time goes. but its obvious that he doesn't deserve 60 mil during the corona.
