He doesn't know how to play RWB. He has barely played there in his career to date, people really got carried away after a couple of games for Fiorentina this season.

We needed a quality midfielder, but we also needed width and speed in attack, especially with Costa gone.

Most people will agree that fixing the midfield was more important. Arthur and the American Sturaro? Yeah right. We just keep accumulating mediocrity in midfield.

Even more so if Pirlo is planning to play 352.

I think he's a good buy, the price is inflated because it's Fiorentina but we actually need a real winger who can cross (especially for Cristiano who can score tons of headers).
His positioning when defending could be better but guys he just started training with the team for like a day, cut him some slack.
I'm very optimistic he can do well here.

Not very good, but i dont know if this game is the right game for him to be judged. The whole team looked confused and played in a weird shape. I have seen him do well for Italy defensively before, im sure its more of a case of adapting rather than him actually not being capable to defend.
