I think that was the problem.

We were so exposed down the right in the first half. The system seems to ask for some defensive contribution from our wingers and he gave none.

Sad for the red card, but wasn’t playing a very good game. Nice assists and he was trying to make combinations with Kulu, they didn’t had a lot of problems finding eachother. One of the reasons that our right side was so exposed was because Chiesa didn’t do much defending imo. We looked more balanced with Cuadrado. Also needs to dribble a bit less, he lost a lot of important balls because of that.

When those average players like him, Cigarini, dagostino and Berna play for those average teams, it's easy to impress in sub par competition. Yet when they join a competent team and you tone down everything a bit, the only thing that remains is their best parts, Chiesa has just a good cross, is that enough to warrant 50mil?
