Federico Bernardeschi speaks to Gazzetta on the eve of Fiorentina-Juventus.

POST-ATALANTA - "What happened at the Stadium really upset me. It’s never nice to see a team struggling, but I understand the fans’ anger, given the club’s history and tradition—it’s only natural. Right now, I think Juventus needs to isolate itself and focus on securing fourth place by the end of the season."

MOTTA OUT? - "The project was designed for multiple years, so I believe the club will assess things at the end of the season. Finishing fourth is the bare minimum Juventus should aim for. Based on the objectives set at the beginning of the season, the management will have to decide whether to continue on this path or make changes."

FOURTH PLACE - "Yes, Juventus can absolutely secure fourth place, even though I didn’t expect them to struggle this much. New projects don’t always go as planned—it’s up to the club to decide whether to give the current project more time or make a change."

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE CAMPAIGN - "Missed opportunity? Absolutely. A club like Juventus must always reach the Round of 16. If they fail to do so, it’s a serious problem."

VLAHOVIC - "It’s disappointing to see such an asset sidelined for tactical, technical, and even club-related reasons. I think his situation is a mix of all three. He’s a strong player and a true professional, and Juventus is not making the most of their asset. Meanwhile, they are playing Kolo Muani, who is only on loan. From a management perspective, I consider this a mistake."

KEAN - "I’ve always maintained that Moise is a great player. People shouldn’t forget that he faced fierce competition at Juventus. It wasn’t realistic to expect him to play every match, even though, as a young player, he needed more game time. I expected him to revive his career, and I had no doubt he would score between 15 and 20 goals at Fiorentina, a club that is giving him trust and the chance to shine."

FAGIOLI - "Right decision? I’m convinced it was. Fiorentina is a great opportunity for Nicolò—it’s a club that gives a lot, even on an emotional level. This move could benefit him, especially after the difficult period he has been through."
