I never hated him but soon saw Berna's Juve play never resembled what he did at Fiorentina. Good for him reportedly getting 5m a year so didn't have to take a pay cut. Of course it's only MLS but he's a big fish in a small pond.
I agree. He will probably have some form of succes before defenders figure him out.
It's not hard, he just puts his head down and tries to run like a headless chicken in a straight line until he runs off the ground.
Gio had 83 goals + 50 assists in 141 games in Toronto, he was a legit superstar in MLS level.
Berna probably won't average a goal contribution every game, but I'm pretty certain he'll have good numbers. He was good in Fiorentina when he could play hero ball all the time.
