Very impressive start. Great technique and more importantly looks like a smart player. He'd absolutely destroy Barca if we decide to play him.

I thought he was great. Unlike Douglas Costa he's valueable without the ball at his feet. His movements were pretty good, proven the assist and not pushing to get the ball but leaving it for Dybala.

That's what I've been saying all summer. Costa on the left, Bernie on the right...we finally have wingers that contribute to the attack. Fucking use them already.
Yes exactly. They would tear shit up.

Against teams like Chievo who sit back its just too negative to play the likes of Manbro, Cuado and even Stuaro on the wings.

Costa needs to play on the left with Sandro. That side would be amazing.

We have been lopsided all last season with Mandzukic's side defensive and Cuadrados side offensive. Too easy to defend against that because you know what side we would use to try and attack from.

DC & Bern offer unpredictability.

Yeah, most of us want to see Berna and Costa to play together but there is one big problem for Max Allegri - they are too offensive. From the start of the season they probably played 50 minutes between them. Only some injury of Mandzukic and Cuadrado will change that.

So fucking tell them to track back and defend. How hard can it be, seriously? Make an extra effort to track back or don't play. Easy direction from Max. An even easier decision on the players part to comply if they want to play.

People moaned/bitched/complained when we signed Cuadrado because he didn't "defend" and now that's all they say is the reason he and Mario play is because of their defensive contribution.

The easiest thing to learn is to track back and help in defense.

We taught Mandzukic to play fucking winger for God's sake AND defend. We got Cuadrado to defend too and people don't think Bernie or DC can't be taught?

I think Bernadeschi can defend enough for Allegri. He's played as a wing back on occasions for Fiorentina.

Give it time. We are only 4 games into the season, he looked off the pace against Lazio after starting pre-season very late, so he is being eased in.

No, they can be but you will limit their offensive contribution as this is what happened to Cuad. He can do more in attack but is just too exhausted from this defend at all cost mentality. Mandzu does not posses the skills to be a winger but is a mad man and there was not much to teach him in order to defend.

Nah. He played there before and always had this insane workrate, and Cuads was always best as RWB imo, not exactly lazy tracking back as well. We taught them nothing.

Mandzu offers one thing none of the fancy alternatives can provide - aerial prowess.
We are under pressure (...which is gonna be even more the case without BonBon now, i know you don't wanna hear it) so our CB's can always hoof it forward to the left, knowing Mario is gonna win the header 9/10 times. Safe way round getting pressured early.

Or he's getting into the box as second striker for crosses, none of the other midgets are useful for that, not to mention his quick flick offs are great too.

I'm all for keeping the lopsided system. Because this style really offers unpredictability, unlike having 2 braindead wingers running up and down the flank.

Edit: We agree...at least on some points :p @Osman
