Being the major part of you external viewers of the Series A, what do you really think of F. Bernardeschi?

The bottom line is that it will always be extremely difficult to maintain a sustainable, successful top club without Italian players. These are necessary risks. You want to have a base of players that are stable. You can't keep buying and selling every window because eventually you will start missing on your purchases. Once Barca had to start buying foreign players, they went to shit. Gomes, Turan, Mathieu. Good night.

Economically speaking, you probably overpay on the initial fee but make it up on wages over the life of the contract. We have a proven history of keeping Italian players in a reasonable wage structure. And then you have the ancillary benefits like Italian pride and all that other blah blah that people might not believe in.

With Bernardeschi, at least you know you can have a quality, versatile attacker who will not cause shit, won't want to leave, won't need a new contract every year, etc.

There is a premium on acquiring talented Italian players because of the guarantees they offer you. Everyone in Serie A knows that at this point.
Very well said man.
And Berna IS a great talent.
It's not some Sturaro or Bertolacci level of a player.

Will he be a difference maker?we don't know.maybe in the future, but it is a great move for us nevertheless.
Young,Italian,Talented enough to make such an investment.

Of course Mandzukic is technically ok and your coach won't bring down the confidence of a starter but Mandzukic's passing never goes wrong just because it is very basic. He does not make the hard passes a playmaker like Bernardeschi could make which is exactly what we're missing. Dybala needs to play in attack and we need someone else to control the play.
You should pay more attention to Mandzo and you would see he does a lot more than the basic, I actually don't know if there some stats to specific level but he has to be first in our team with more passes at first touch and back heel

About Berna let assume he would be our playmaker so: are we gonna play 4-3-1-2? Including possible new signs, who would it be in the field? Is it better than our current attack? How much better?

Let's not categorise back heels as anything special; any amature can do that. What we're missing are pinpoint through passes and sharp crosses who immediately create chances. Passing down the line when a fullback overlapses is another category.

Well the way I see it... with Bernardeschi in, we'd effectively replace Dani Alves' playmaking down the rigt. At the business end of the season, DA was the one positioned at right wing in favor of Cuadrado. It's definitely an attacking upgrade over both of them anyway. We've been missing that magia for a while now and Bernardeschi/Douglas Costa and Dybala feeding Mandzu & Higuain will be a sight to behold whichever formation comes out.

Last season we have been very lucky to have Higuain save our asses multiple times but in the long run & eyeing CL glory that's not enough.

"its hard to find players that will stay a long time at the same team, the blame is always 50/50 between the parties."

Cronios is an enigma :D

The rest, mainly just different opinions, but many also just like to complain for the fuck of it. This better then my expected scenario for sure, despite dreaming of Sanchez, getting 2 QUALITY wingers/AMs that both cost over 40m, is defenitely extatic news for me, not to mention same time getting top talent like Schick. We will NEVER EVER need to see Sturaro and Lemina as wingers in big games again...

I just hope we get a friggin quality CM to and all is golden.

The base of the pinpoint is pass at first touch and Mandzo is one of the best in our team on it. If our team were performance at the level Mario did in the final there wasn't any chance to be humiliated as we were

Hopefully Bernar could bring all this "handle tempo" and "pinpoint" game cuz honetly so far I don't know exactly which position he would play? which formation would suit him better and Dybala? More question than answer bring Berna here IMO

That I can all relate to. I love Mandzukic btw and Bernardeschi does bring questions but any player does at this point. Our team is still crooked as ever to play a 4-2-3-1 which is obviously the intention if we bring in D. Costa...
