Real sold di Maria, who was their 2nd best player in 2014, even though they moved him to CM to accommodate Bale.
Real sold Ozil, the most assisting player in the world for his time there, for freakin Isco.
Real sold Sneijder and Robben, who one season prior led the team to a Primera title, trashing fagca 4-0 in the process.
Real sold Robinho, after his breakout season when he was one of their best players and a undisputed starter.
Real sold Makelele, nough said.

Real sells their top performing players when they want to sign a bigger "star", its not leftovers but top class players

But that's completely besides the point of this discussion.

ok back on topic then. how is selling your 2nd best player and best player of the CL final selling leftovers? or the top assisting playmaker in the world for years? both starters for years and both integral parts of the team.

They deemed him dispensable, specifically since they were eyeing Bale. Suppose they didn't and some club made a bid, they wouldn't give in and sell. Being dispensable is basically being a leftover, it doesn't have anything to do with being a top quality player or not, no matter how good.

Definitely Sanchez cause he is better player and much more proven. He would make immediate impact.

Btw when was the last time a promising, technically gifted young Italian attacker lived up to the hype? :D

Bernaardeschi would be cool for the age and promise...but sadly we are sorely needing endproduct in the final 3rd and we cant simply gamble. We need guarantees that make us reach the top end of the CL in the coming 3 years to create a better impression outiside italy.

Was Pogba our best player? he wasn't even our best midfielder. Di Maria was certainly a much better and important player in the season when he left Madrid than Pogba was for us.
Di Maria had great 2nd half for CL, but he was barely even top 3 even on consistent basis in his time with them there, several bigger stars there, and being replaced by Bale is a step up because Di Maria was very inconsistent, lack of impact as Winger and got accolades for hard work in CM position near the end, because he couldnt fullfil the task as winger like Bale.

Pogba defenitely our biggiest star name and best player quality wise at the time. It's not a coincidence we sold him for record sum.

Bale and Di Maria played together. It was James that replaced Di Maria, and we all know how that turned out.

Pogba may have had the most talent but he certainly wasn't our best or most important player, not in any of his seasons here.

Juventus step up Bernardeschi pursuit?
By Football Italia staff

Marko Pjaca’s injury will reportedly see Juventus step up their pursuit of Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi.
Pjaca is out for around six months after suffering a cruciate ligament injury on international duty with Croatia.
The Bianconeri had already been linked with Bernardeschi, but Tuttosport is reporting that they will now intensity their efforts to sign the Italian international.
The 23-year-old is yet to agree a new contract with the Viola, with his current deal running until 2019.
As reported by the newspaper, there has already been tentative contact with his entourage, and talks could intensify in the coming weeks.
Bernardeschi is seen as an ideal signing, as he’s young and can play in almost any formation.
