Just watched a video of him and he looks like the kind of player that requires a lot of space to operate. Not sure he would be very effective against packed defences such as what Juve normally faces every week.

EDIT: I mean, he obviously looks like a good player, but doesn't have that world class potential look to him, like that extra touch of class.

I am not sure at all he is going to get enough first team minutes, unless we sell. Fiorentina didn't have the best of seasons, but his stats include a fair amount of luck in review. 50M? No 10 Juve material he is definitely not.

Yeah I'm skeptical. But I also don't mind giving Beppe and Paratici the benefit of the doubt.

Must we take someone in? We have Pjaca and guys like Spinazzola waiting on the wings. I mean is Spinazzola ever going to get minutes if he came here?
If we should buy, I guess it must be a real upgrade on what we have. And with Pjaca we have a huge potential... Stay as we are or get real jewels, like Dybala. If there is another opportunity like him - sure, if not save some cash and splash.

Normally I agree mostly with you, but would he really improve here if he isn't top dog? He will be a rotational player here. Who is going to replace directly?

He's the best of the bunch among young Italian talents imo.

There's a reason why he's been linked to a whole host of top clubs outside Italy and that's a rarity when it comes to Italian attacking players.

Creativity, dribbling, pace, explosive left foot, he's got it all and I can see him improving his game with the players we've got. He's clearly the best winger we've been linked with and he's also someone who's a goal threat. We need to continue with this 'Made in Italy' policy. Get him ASAP.

50M is not that much actually... let's say he flops, we could still offload him to some EPL side for 30-40M so the risk is not that great.
But if he succeeds, we'll have an italian WC attacker for the first time since.... #10

How little can it be when the best players in the world are considered to be worth twice as much?
