I'm sorry Emma, I know how pissed off I'd be if my cat started showing signs that death's round the corner. Hopefully the little devil/zombie can pull through!

Why not? At least you got the major you wanted, right? :)

hehe... cute :D
Oh, I was talking about the location.

Embry Riddle is supposed to be the best university for Aerospace Engineering in the United States.

It's got a good reputation.

About Daytona Beach, it's not what you think. Alot of rednecks, bikers, I don't like it at all.

But, it's not that bad.

Great :) How long is your program, how many years left?

Around 3 more years. It's going quite good so far, interesting stuff.

Oh, Daytona Beach was a major Spring Break spot some years ago. Yea, it's got a beach, but I'm from the islands already, makes no difference to me :D

And then.. commercial pilot? :)
No no, I could be a commercial pilot within two months.

3 years till I get my degree, 4 years for masters.

Degree in Engineering.

Thats life.

For all I know you could have to be an engineer to pilot a plane, I'm not exactly well oriented in the field. But does that mean you'll be working in design and construction?

You don't need a degree to become a pilot. Hell, you could have a very limited education background and still become a pilot.

However, for an airline pilot, no matter how good you are at flying, they look for degrees. No particular field though. You could do a degree in some sort of business and still be an airline pilot.

Right now I'm working (well not really) on my insturment ratings. Time is my problem.

Aerospace Engineering deals with designing and constructing aircrafts and formula 1 cars.

It's the start to becoming a rocket scientist or an astronaut :D

The animal isnt dead yet...I think we should all consider Emma's feelings, I bet she is reading this right now looking for nice messages to keeo her spirits up, only to find stories about planes and engineering...
