Ok, here are some more tougths about this:
Lets consider this for a moment:
In both sentences Juventus have been the heviest penalice team, lets just imagine that we do get this sentence appeal, the new one will also get us more penalice than the other teams, that means that even if we should get to stay in Serie A, we could be penalize with more than 30 points less... wich means that we could get demoted in the next year...
Somehow, I think we shoudl consider this new appeal.

I think the whole club has seen it as a bad judgement as a whole, they themselves the owners of teh club as well as former players have said its a bad decision. Itw ill only go down nicely if we all stay united by teh decison that yes this was bad and there is nothing more but to take it further. As for the issue that we were more involved, well there isnt much proove of that, we only 'fixed two matches' considering lazio had 'fixed' 5. And as for the scapegoat mentality well IMO that just sux, if we are the scapegoats then we should fight to relieve ourselves of it its quite as simple as that.
It doesn't matter what I believe or not. The media has made us scapegoats and people are expecting us to take a hit for Italian football.
And yes 'compared to others'. We can try to work that card but I'm sure they knew what reactions their verdict would set off. But yeah lets try EU court, perhaps they see it as a mistake.

President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli comments on the decision of the Corte Federale to condemn Juventus to Serie B with a 17 point penalty: “There is absolutely no way we can accept this sentence. Taking into consideration the facts which have so far been brought to light, the sentence cannot be deemed a balanced one. Furthermore, I find the differential judicial treatment afforded to the other clubs most serious and completely unjustified. The ramifications for Juventus are extremely serious: the 2004/2005 scudetto has been revoked and, despite having nothing to do with the inquest, so has that of 2005/2006; we are also unable to participate in any international competitions. Above all, a punishment has been inflicted on us which will seriously jeopardise next season. Since the recordings of the first phone calls were released, the club has pursued one sole objective: to exercise clarity and it has done so without hesitation. For these reasons, we have decided to continue with our case and appeal to every possible body. I can confirm that we will not stop until justice is done, in the interests of our extraordinary fans, our share-holders, the club, and, of course, the football league.
