I am afraid that rossi and his friends will give us a 5 points reduction of the current 17 points and make us start the serie B with a -12pts instead the -5pts(stated by tuttosport).
Unless they give us the "coup de grâce" and bury us in serie C (they have all cards in their hand now).

IIf anyone truly believes that much more could have been achieved by going to TAR then they are seriously living in cloud cuckoo land. The only things that would have been achieved is a further delay in the start of the new season and the consequent lose of goodwill, independent support and affection from other team management and fans, who at the end of the day just want to watch their team play.
The management after all do know the depths that Moggi went to, and they do know just how far they can push the system. Yes, they postured as though only Seria A and titles would satisfy them; what else should they do: in a position of weakness they could not show weakness, especially when trying to hold on to as many of our best players as possible.

Praise them for the further reduction in points deduction, and more especially for holding on to Trezeguet and Buffon!!
Bianconero, I appreciate what you're saying but do you seriously think we have ANY goodwill, independent support and affection from other teams? Oh come on.
We are the most hated team in the league precisely because we are the most successful. Of course Inter and Milan and Fiorentina jst want to get on with the championship and see their team play - since when do we care about fiorentina fans? What going on here? Juve have acted in an overly-civilised and restrained way here. It has not worked for us. Milan went absolutely crazy when they were handed out their first sentence AND THEY WERE STILL IN SERIE A!!! They blustered like mad and threatened all sorts of things and look what it got them - a nothing point reduction and re-admittance to the Champions League. Don't tell me that Galliani was any sort of saint and that they werent as heavily corrupted and involved in the system as Moggi. They OWNED the system with all the TV rights and peripheries. They got off scott-free because of their hard-man talk FROM THE BEGINNING.
I am not really the type who mouths off in my life, even when I think something is not right. I'm always diplomatic but I have seen time and time again how its only the big-mouths who ever get anywhere. It frustrates the hell out of me that the management tried to do the right thing by humbly accepting what was happening and trting to make amend. But when it became clear that Rossi et co were laughing and then handed us out another thrashing and insult in the appeal, we HAD to say NO. Enough with the bending over and taking it. We tried to be fair - you were not. Now its time to get nasty and got to the TAR and Euro court. Dont mess with us WE ARE JUVE. Even if it got us nothing we would have made a stand on principle and gone down fighting.

Sorry for the rant guys, I'm really pissed off.

FORZA JUVE!!

I can understand your anger and frustration, but (and it may be the case that he was targeted) Moggi was caught (Flagrante delicto): We don't have a case, the board recognise our guilt as Moggi was and is guilty.
All this wailing about others is pointless, they were punished to their guilt and we to ours.

I, for one , just want to get on with playing again. Seria A, yes, but it isn,t going to happen.

Also you are wrong on one other count, there is a myth that Juve are hated, in fact they are nearly every others second favourite team and loved and respected throughout this land, as well as the world.

yeh i understand what you are saying, but we are in B with -5, and we were the most involved in this whole thing even though i hate to say it. they were going to punish us alot so now we have to deal with it. sure i could be pissed off, which i am pissed off and hate the figc for this but we have to get on with it. DP said that: “I am sorry too and I understand what Deschamps is feeling now, but personally my choice to stay here had nothing to do with the Division we would play in,” so lets just get on with it and what is done is done lets just support juve!

forza juve!!

and all you have to remeber is: inter =

Bianconero has a point there. We all feel we've been more or less screwed due to the severity of our penalty compared with others. Still, Serie B was a likely option in June already and I can't take the fact we're staying in B as a suprise. Because of the phone conversations we were implicated the most and therefore we had to be punished the most.

Gigli's only fault has been giving strict comments about matters that ultimately weren't true. However, anybody remember Moggi et co.? They were masters at deception (in more ways than one like we've been noticed) so in the end it's useless to blame Gigli for all of this.

Bottom line is that we did wrong things, we were the ones most implicated and therefore the most punished. Revoking two scudetti without any real evidence of actual match fixing is harsh but we have to deal with it now. The athmosphere in calcio has always been shady and should we say "very Italian" in a way and we have to pay the most severe consequences for that this time around. Yes, again it sucks but what are you going to do about it now?

We did have little chance of getting back to A and we would've been accused of unsportmanshiplike behaviour all over Europe if we had gone to TAR. Serie A would've been delayed, therefore other teams and fans would not be pleased. We all must remember that we would have had to present to the Italian justice system very, very good proof that this punishment was too severe because how would it look like if after four months of appealing all of the teams were back in Serie A? Not good, not good. Gigli had to bow under pressure and hopefully he was able to negotiate good reductions to the points penalty. We really did not hav e much space for negotiating. I'm sure that after Juve's accusation of sueing FIGC something must've happened and Gigli backs out. Hopefully it's not any illegal shady agreement between Juve and some parties involved but we can never know considering the facts.

Anyway, life goes on and we must give the new management more time before judging. They were brought into this club under the most difficult time in Juve's history and we must give them some slack. This season will show if we are in good hands management-wise and also in the field.

I don't know how people can still complain. After what Moggi's done to the sport in Italy, Juventus should consider themselves lucky to be where they are now. The first joke in this process was the reduction in the first penalty.

Starting with -5? Might as well not even punish them...

BTW, don't take what Tuttosport says too seriously... they are based in Turin.
same cud be said about all the offending clubs everyone except juve got off lightly

I really can't see understand why this barrage of abuse is being heaped onto the new managements heads, they have followed a path, not of their making, and have done the best they could.
If anyone truly believes that much more could have been achieved by going to TAR then they are seriously living in cloud cuckoo land. I really dont care if we got something from the Appeal or not, the important thing to me and to many in here is to try. When they first took in, they said they would always look for the goodness of the club and will always fight for it. Now how is that fighting for the club.

Since the begining they surrendered, they were OK with B from the begining when everyone else was pushing for A and even europe and they got their will. We should've pushed from the begining and that was their first mistake.

Their 2nd mistake was giving us hope when there wasnt any from their perspective. They didnt fight for the club's rights, and how would we expect the likes of camo and trezi to do so ? even alex, neddy and gigi.

Am happy that DD didnt appreciete this debacle. And he spoke his mind.Good on him.

We wont get our scudetti back thats for sure, the Ball is in Rossi's court now.Hes calling the shots since our board r some pussies.

After we get back to serie A, mybe with a year i want this board OUT.And bring in som experienced footballers with some Balls.I dont know how Tardelli accepted this decision, when it was Blanc that didnt good on him.

personally i am not furious about the punishment,i know we deserve a punishment
i am furious about the way our new management dealt with the matters
first they said this is not fair and we will go to TAR letting us hope that the situation will change and dream of a return to serie A and then suddenly they do a strange decision to retire the appeal and accept what they described as unfair from the beginning
they let us dream of a possible return and then they killed the dream
if it was the TAR who decided we will still in B,this would disappointed me but when the disappointement comes from the men who had let us dream and hope,it hurts a lot and its 100 times more disappointing.

Of course the new board consists of idiots. They had to be appointed within a month time. What disappoints me most, more then their flip flop opinion, is that they didn't take the chance to rebuild the team. Players like Tudor and Legrottaglie, who are now back, have proven to be not good enough for Juventus in Serie A. I would have liked a gamble like on Bojoniv, perhaps on players like Felipe and Muntari, to discover some new potential stars.

Actually I think Tuttosport said we will get Serie B -5 points and not a 5 point discount

Tudor was and I hope still is a very fine player, and Lego has proven he has the skill and experience foe Seria B (he is a good building block). This is not about taking gambles on potential new stars, but the urgent need to get back into Seria A, and that will take skill, experience and men!

 nice post :agree: A few words that round it up are honour and dignity which the board forgot about.
