Ronaldo’s Views On Calciopoli
The Brazilian striker stated that he always suspected there was something.

Ronaldo went back on the Calciopoli scandal which saw Juventus demoted to Serie B due to Luciano Moggi’s intervention in the refereeing system.

“I did not expect these punishments, but we did suspect something of irregular for many years.

“Now the Inter fans are happier. Very strange episodes occurred in the 1998 and 2002 seasons, which made me suffer.”

Ronaldo never managed to win the Scudetto during his time at Inter, but latest reports coming from Italy suggest that the striker is on his way back to the peninsula to wear the Nerazzurri colours once again.

boohoo you fat idiot, only thing irregular was your inability to handle yourself in italy and your incompetent team. i so hope he joined inter and finished 3rd behind roma and milan, what strange episodes would have been then?

:agree: I have said it from the very begining.
We didn't do something wrong that can make us suffer this all things. Moggi influenced them to give the referees in juve's favor. But we didn't do match-fixing.

figc dont whant to discuss with juve

No Juve talks, say FIGC Wednesday 30 August, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Italian Football Federation insist they are not in negotiations with Juventus in an attempt to halt the Calciopoli club from appealing to the civil courts.

“The Italian Football Federation and Juventus are not negotiating,” read an FIGC statement.

“And the FIGC’s position in this matter is identical to the one already adopted with the other clubs involved in the match-fixing scandal.

“The FIGC lawyers are studying their reply to Juventus’ appeal which will be discussed in front of TAR Lazio, in the hearing scheduled for September 1.”

Juventus officials had confirmed on Sunday that they planned to discuss with the Federation the possibility of remaining in Serie B without a points deduction.

“We are in talks with the FIGC and we are ready to negotiate with CONI [the Italian Olympic Committee],” said Bianconeri President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli.

Juventus, who were demoted to Serie B and handed a 17-point deduction for this season, failed in their conciliation meeting in front of CONI two weeks ago.

The Bianconeri have since then decided to appeal to the civil justice system, even though the FIGC and FIFA have both warned the club that they risk further sanctions as a result.

Juve, who initially claimed they would not stop until their top-flight status was restored, may now be aiming to have the 17-point penalty drastically reduced or totally wiped out.

Cobolli Gigli will be in Rome on Wednesday for the Serie B fixture draw up and has confirmed his intention of opening a communication channel with the FIGC.

It was as I thought:

NOTHING decided..

Cobolli will meet with the board tomorrow.

I have to think that he was given the right to say "OK" if the deal was good enough---apparently B-7 or 10 wasn't good enough...which is a good thing.

Will keep you guys posted if I hear anything else. :)

I hope we wont accept the Serie B decision and continue fighting. Whatever it may cost or wherever we may go, we shall go with it, continue this war till the end.

I think they will, TBH...

If this meeting was positive, Juve would have come out trying to spin it positively PR-wise.

No news is good news, amico mio.

we shud of saved our time through these mickey mouse courts and take it to the top, i recon if that was the case, we wud be back where we belong.

i do not believe that the students that first created this club fought blood sweat and tears, to witness their club rich in history to just accept a undeserved punishment, they created it with a vision, to become the greatest italian club ever, they achieved that, but never had they or we imagined that our rivals wud plot against us and screw us over.
