So with 10 charisma you only get 20 people per settlement. That's pretty shit.
The max is a base value+ charisma

Damn, that's heavy. Haven't taken any of the perks that improve weapon dmg yet. Was more focused on obtaining perks more vital to settlement development, like local leader and cap collector, which allowed me to build trading posts and gather nice amount of caps any time I return to Sanctuary.

Stumbled upon deathclaw while doing witchcraft museum quest last night. It took 3 nukes to put that fucker down.
Up close and shotgun in the face ?

Very low calibre rounds though aren't they? It's the rate of fire that makes them useful, especially if you aim high it keeps enemies on the back foot.
Meh, not my cup of tea

- Unlock sanctuary
- Do Preston garveys requests to go to new settlements
- Ally at least 3 settlements to sanctuary
- Meanwhile, talk to "mama murphy" in sanctuary and do her quest "the sight" to bring her psycho.
- Talk to Preston to get the quest "taking independance", finish it
- Talk to Preston to get the quest "old guns", and complete that aswel
- Between 7am and 7pm, go to The old ford (wich you unlocked in taking independance), and barter with Ronny Shaw

Don't have that kind of money. I'd have to either open my little shops and/or go cleaning out places with raiders, mutants, etc and picking up every piece of clothing and weapon to sell later. What's the other way?

Remember tough zones and make a run

Visit quincy ruins. Save ALOT. Hoard it all home

ALWAYS pick up ammo.

I make my own missions, I look in the wikia what skillbook I want, and since its fallout, its usually well defended.

Try to use cheap ammo tho.

Freaking gaus ammo is 24 per shot

Found myself a Gaus rifle, not two minutes later sanctuary was under attack. Fastravelled and was met by a deathclaw at the front gate, none of my turrets , flamethrowers or guards need. Deathclaw rekt in split seconds.

This rifle can you just find by looting or you have to buy it from a vendor?

I went online to find a location for it, and it was somewhere east of Goodneighbor at 35 Court in the Custom House Tower. A Mk. III set, no less :touched:

You can buy the Gaus Rifle at Diamond City or at Goodneighbor. Mine cost less than 600 Caps, and it is a beast.

Finding ammo for it, without spending around 20 caps per round, is another matter entirely.

I'm getting closer and closer in my relationship with Piper, that I should be tapping dat ass sooner rather than later.

And then I can dump her for Codsworth

Cool. Assaultrons are assholes. I've only found one so far and it got me by surprise.
My first experience with an Assualtron was at the aforementioned location where I got my Power armor. And of course, it had to be some legendary assaultron master that mutated. Oh, and I had to deal with a Sentry Bot as well.

I was lvl 30 in full heavy combar armor, in quincy ruins and it just oneshot me.

Kinda respect them. With my stealth and rifleman perks, and the legendary gaus rifle, I either oneshot it from sneaking, or it oneshots me if its sneaks upon me in stealth
