Not sure, i looked it up online and build one in both my two good settlements and assigned a settler to it.

If you want to play this game with the settlements, i'd recommand to get 6 Charisma as early as you can manage, and get 1 level of "local leader".

These populations take a while to crowd, and to build the good basics, you need to be able to share your workstation, wich you do via traderoutes.
Just scrap everything in sanctuary, wall it off and place drones, build a crop field and waterpumps(as the game says) and beds. Build a generator and connect with a radio tower.
I dislike the waterpumps, so i build a watercleaning thingie and put a few pylons over the wall to connect power to it. Just assign settlers to crops to get enough food.

Here is the tricky thing. A traderoute means you take a settler to do it. Aka you cannot just go like "get all settlements, connect them all", cause you have nowere near enough settlers to use for traderoutes AND managing crops.

Nice beginners guide there Zach

I have three settlements with 15+ people there, another 6 settlements with between 4 and 9 people.

Very proud of my sanctuary settlement. It has a bar, workshop, trading market and enough artillery and drones to fend off any attacks

Nice progress

I quite like this addition, so great.

So far i havent experience any bug whatsoever. I dont get the complains. Especially on PC. Fallout 4 doesnt use SLI so i can just use one 770. Wich easely keeps the framerate around 50-60. So hardware shouldnt be an issue for people.

So what does influence positive or negative influence over my companions do? Do i gain anything from it?

Found a parking garage set up like a haunted house full of booby traps, loot, numbered doors exploring the random locations in this game doesn't dissapoint

Yeah, the more you do that they like the closer you get to getting their quest / perk. There are some useful ones. Who is everyone's favourites?

Do the vault tech lunchboxes do anything?
Damn I was hoping for another star bottle cap situation.
Surely opening them all leads to something?
I couldn't stand that mofo for more than a few mins. Did you do Curie's main mission?

Has anyone done Big Dig yet? Pretty cool mission. If you ask me.

Favourite mission thus far

Has anyone come across "the swan" ?

the melee weapon it drops is fucking awesome!

I had heard something about Swan somewhere but had no idea who/what it was/where it was.

Then a couple of days ago I'm...
Exploring the pond area and decided to check what the thing in the middle was. I had my headphones on when the fucking giant mofo jumped out of the water screaming like a scene from a Frankenstein movie. I screamed like a little girl and ran for my life scared to death. He of course caught up and killed me. I will not go anywhere close to that pond.

That sounds awfully familiar, i was crossing the pond cause i tought there was loot in the chapelthingie, stopped for a sec to drink (yes in the pool, but wearing the 1000rad suit), and suddenly that big roar, turned around, and HOLY FUCK that thing was huge.

Shotgun and psychobuff tho

I've found quite a few exceptional weapons and armour. Had an interesting battle with a Behemoth as well, had to scramble up to high ground but the fucker can throw boulders like they are pebbles.

Always seem to be short of a few building materials, adhesive and gears the two that seem to be needed for everything worthwhile. All that duct tape and glue I skipped, now I'm going back through spots I have cleared. Founds lots of fusion cores now, didn't see any for a long time before.

I'm mostly getting sidetracked with the Minutemen missions at the moment.
