So, I've started to build my house.

Or, should I say, something that I am trying to pass off as a house, but it looks nothing like it.

I had to go scrounging around for materials to build a damn chair for a smacked out soothsayer.

I think I've spent three hours just cleaning shit up. Making new fence, repairing demolish fence, took a lot of time but Sanctuary as starting to look more like decent. I've cleaned up all dead trees and houses, etcetera. I even cleaned out the river! Turrets are spread around with guard posts and alarms. Now no one should die too quickly at least.
Still haven't visited diamond city, I'll keep roaming for a bit longer before I do.

I feel kind of overwhelmed, there's too much to do
this is nothing compared to Skyrim.

Absolutely loving this game. They fixed everything wrong with previous fallout titles ive played 10/10

only problem is the voice acting for the main character. It just doesnt fit when i murder 4 people and try to extort the fifth but my voice sounds all pleasant and dorky that and for some reason the frame drops whenever i use an elevator

My short shitty review (no spoilers) after ~24hrs gameplay

Positives
-Boston: Huge, diverse and detailed
-Combat: It is really fun now, in 3 & NV it was just kind of shit. The audio is really nice too, both gun sounds and the way you get weapon reverb and distant combat sounds
-Story: It seems like kind of a cross between 3 & NV, it's not too personal as Boston seems to take a bigger role (like Vegas) compared to your own personal story (3)
-Crafting system: So much to do with this, from weapon & armor mods to chems and food and then the whole base building thing. The resource thing with scrapping items you find for certain parts is just another layer of awesomeness
-AI: The AI is actually quite good now, they fight from long distances and take cover. There's even cool stuff like ghouls coming through windows
-Weapons: A good variety of weapons to choose from and they all feel nice to use. Weapon modding is really well done
-Power armor: One word... Beastly
-Graphics: Aside from some shitty textures they are really nice, especially the lighting and general ambience. The fog/weather effects look really good
-Quests: So far I haven't done that many but they all are fun and vary enough

Negatives
-Dialogue system: While I do like the new system and the voiced protagonist, it's not as detailed as before. In 3/NV you could have lots of dialogue with a lot of NPCs, but now for most besides main characters it's like one question
-Somewhat buggy: I've only had one bad one but many are just immersion breaking and some are just plain annoying like one time when the pip boy key was not working at all. It is mostly fine though
-Voice acting audio quality: I have high quality speakers & headphones so it is probably more noticeable for me and I do understand audio takes up a lot of file space but it sounds like the VAs are speaking through $10 mics on skype
-Karma/Reputation: Can't but help feel at least one should be in

There's heaps more but they're the main ones I can think of right now

Overall: 9.5/10

How are you doing with the power armor btw? "batteries" (can't remember what they are powered on) are short of supply. After I ran out of power once and was outrun by turtles on my way home, I decided to stock them at home until I felt the real need for it.
