As stupid as it sounds and as great as it looks, I hope they don't change too much. I still want it to feel like Fallout as I play it. The random enemies just popping out of the ground for example, don't know how I feel about that. And I'm sure it'll be great, but I liked the player character not having dialogue.

-proper MODS on xb1... wtf lol. I doubt it will be able to run that many due to hardware limitations though.

I think it'll be a great change, many people are just afraid of change. I also really like the dialogue. I hope it's not too limiting, only for the fact that it's only a few word descriptions, but I'd still take it over having to wade through text after text and skipping through them half the time. It's actually good in that it will kind of force you to hear everything.

Yeah that sucks, that was like a slap in the face for a PS4 fanboy like myself. I'll wait and see how that actually turns out though.

About the speech in game.. I can't believe how many people are complaining about the main character having a voice. When done properly, it adds so much to the whole RPG feel of games.

Player character not having a dialog was the best thing and a master stroke. Sadly all the games are now targeted to please a bigger and bigger audiances, that's the problem.

It's not just RPG, it's fallout.

Seriously, anyone who didn't play fallout 1&2 should not comment about fallout.

Anyway, will have 3 weeks off work and gonna dig in to FO New vegas, hopefully that will be awesome and a change from FA3.

Having a voice > not having a voice 10 times over.
The atmosphare in 1&2 second was perfect.

It's a role playing game, so play a role. You're character can have any personality you can imagine. Now everything has to be on a plate without too much effort or thought.

The silent dialog thing is so shit now, it has no place anymore, it completely destroys the pace of the game. It will be a far better experience overall with the new system and voiced protagonist.

Don't see it that way, really. You still have your customizations and your dialogue options so you're still in control of how u role play.

And really, every major RPG game company realized people want to feel attached to their character and present it more like a movie. RPGs evolved, this isn't the 90s anymore.

Costumization? What cheek bones and nose size? :D I'm not saying voice is a bad thing overall, but just adding it doesn't mean better in every situation and game, unless you're a typical casual generic gamer.

I'm just sad that the fallout atmosphare is not there anymore. Not really a suprise though seeing as there is 100 different creative people and 0 same behind these games. Those two games for me are greatest of all time, nostalgia... man, that's all there is to it.

I did, I had high hopes for it too, being it from kickstarter, I even preorderid or whatever the thing you do when you buy beforethe game is finished on kickstater. But it's more like FA brotherhood fo steel(which was just terrible) then the original FA. I liked it, but it's nowhere near a FA. It's fun and the combat is cool.

I would love if someone mixed FA orginals, wasteland and the new x-com savingthe world from aliens game for tacktical combat. That would be sweet.

Anyway, i'll dig into FA new vegas and i hope it has some of that fallout feeling :)

These kind of comments....

Games change, especially when there's a gap of... 15 (?) years between them. It's fine if you prefer these old games, but let me prefer the new ones in peace.
