I'm finding it hard just to build a second floor with stairs, getting them to align with the ground floor at least I'll have to watch a couple of vids. That's the one thing about Fallout, they don't explain very much, just let you fuck it up yourself.

Yeah My house is about as close as I could get it. It looks like a giant fucking box.

Apparently they wont attack unless you have more food/people than you have defence.

(PS4) That first deathclaw ended up falling down the hole in the ground in Concord, one of the entrances for the Civic Access, so I just held my minigun on it while it was stuck trying to get out of the hole. Easiest deathclaw kill ever

I spent about two hours building what was ultimately a pile of crap, you could probably spend a week doing it tbh. I want to make Sanctuary a mini fortress.

I've spent that last few days doing this. Have been building a wall all around Sanctuary, supported by concrete and placed turrents on top. I've found that placing platforms is the best way to make everything (most of it at least) on the same level and avoiding gaps between walls due to uneven terain. Need to find a lot more material to finish the project though.

I might get really high and start building shit in the other settlements. They can all be camps outside the capital

Just noticed on a vid that there is a set of stairs that comes with the attached flooring for inside your buildings...doh.

Looks like you need lots and lots of copper for power objects.

I have several different type of crops/food growing and seems only one settler is taking care of all.

That's how I understand it. I think you can put something like up to 6 people on each as well.

Trying to build an entrance with walls etc. Problem is I can't make two clean levels. The wall is a bit lower than the floor.

Btw I found a pretty easy way to get the big weapon, locked in the Vault. Just go down there and have the dog search for items near it.. it unlocks the box which contains something like a big freezing gun. Can't find ammo for it knowhere as of now though.

Fully retaking and clearing Commonwealth? When needing help somewhere, back up comes faster? This comes in my mind...npc's walks by foot to locations

Oh I'm not saying don't liberate them but I don't see a point in really improving the joint that much. Bar the essentials. How the hell do I light the place up? Like street lights
