There is definately a big difference when it comes to towels & blankets, softener is a must.

beside the anti-wrinkles effect it gives a very nice smell
depends on the softners itself
i like downy and comfort

My mom uses it and she taught me how, so even though she does my laundry I sometimes do it myself and I use it. Think its very useful, and would continue using it.

its true though. I love the fragrance and the softness of my fabric. I've had occassions where there was no fabric softener was included for the laundry and there's a distinct difference.

well, maybe there actually was something, im just not too bothered to live without softener.
