Another Iaquinta.

I hate it when we have cack players that want to stay forever here just so they would drain every last penny out of contract.
I know right? :sergio:

And yet we held on to him instead of Matri. Dayem.
We didn't hold on to him instead of Matri. We simply received better offers for the latter because he's the better player and no one wanted Quag in their squad.

Quag is earning less than Iaquinta. Also you might want to check your sources, because there's a few sites reporting that he's agreed to a 3 year contract at Lazio, offering him less than what he's earning at Juve. But it is Juve who refuse to sell him for less than 8m, and Lazio can't afford to pay that right now. That's the reason the move has stalled.

I know you'd like to think that we "held onto Quag instead of Matri" based purely on sporting decisions, but the fact is that two factors were more important: 1) a great offer came in for Matri, 12 million euros, and 2) it came from a club Matri wanted to play for, the club where he came through the ranks. The deal was therefore easy to complete.

As for Quagliarella: Juventus have been trying to offload him for quite awhile now. We attempted to sell him to Norwich and Southampton among others, but he simply refuses to leave. And now he's gonna turn down Lazio.

He's not really wanted by the club, and that's a fact.

What? Iaquinta did that.
I know he did. Unlike Iaquinta, Quag still plays for us and is used more than the rest of the substitute strikers. So him wanting to stay when he has a defined role in this squad is nothing like that of Iaquinta. Hence the :howler:

Yet he plays more than Giovinco and Vucinic. [RUS]Numbers don't lie [\RUS]

*I know Vucinic was injured a lot

I didn't check other sources. I saw this Quagliarella ha deciso: no alla Lazio.

What you said sounds like 'my news are reliable unlike yours'. In fact, both of us have no clue if any of that is true. But one fact stays the same - that price is ridiculously high and it would be a robbery if we could pull it off.

Season 09/10 Iaquinta had 6 goals and 3 assists on like 12 matches and was the only striker who did something upfront. After that period everyone was wet on the forum and spoke so highly of him. So then we should not blame Iaquinta for wanting to stay here, as he had a beast period. It's also not his fault he was offered like 3.5mln/season.

Quag is a decent backup (only because we have Tevez, Llorente, Mirko ahead of him, so like a 4th or eventually 5th choice) but 8mln for him is just funny. He's 31yo and if we're ever planning to get cash out of him it's now (if it's not too late). He's not worth it and it's a mistake not selling him if rumors are true.

True, we will not sell without having replacements lined up. But I just wanted to point that baggio's claim that we "held onto" Quag is sugarcoating the truth quite a bit. He's obviously playing at Juve, but Juventus have done their utmost to sell this player for a long time now.

Another Amauri on our hands. Fucking great.

I'm really not sure how you think he is cack. he has been counted out countless time here yet he has proved himself time and time again and will continue to do so. I really don't understand someone can think he is cack. he has scored many decisive goals, to say the least.

    He was better for Juve.
