Ttis is really strange. I actually think he and Tevez have massive potential as a partnership, simply coz Tevez has enough skill to create space for his partner, quite like Dp did. They just haven't got their chemistry going just yet. But it could happen if they play a bit more together.
I wouldn't expect it to happen, because Tevez plays further forward than Del Piero, doesn't have his final pass and patience, and makes too many similar charges runs forward with the ball as Quagliarella does.

plz stop starting him. doesn't offer anything and it's unfair to say he scores goals because you can't tell if playing someone else in his place wouldn't result in more goals.

He had a good first half, good at holding the ball up with his back to goal and passing it out to the wing backs.

Who would then either produce a terrible cross or play it backwards.

It's a matter of creating an understanding with each other. They'll stop overlapping amd interchange movement a lot better if they have enough game time to establish it. Both of them tried some flicks yesterday to each other. If it comes off, itll work like a charm, if it doesn't, they'll look like they both play as selfishly and lack the patience to make room for the other.
