America's fault, I'm afraid, 'calibre' is the derivative from Latin and other linked languages (Italian, Spanish, French).
True. However, it can be spelled as Caliber or Calibre; both are correct ;)

Al Gharafa coached by Zico want Lopez and Quag in attack. They've apparently offered Quag an 8m a season contract while offering Juve 7m or so. What a monster contract. This really is a serious issue for any player. Earning that kind of salary in a less relevant league given that you're soon to be on the wrong side of 30. Wonder what most athletes would do. What would you guys do? Choose the money or try and stay relevant in Europe, while enjoying life in a nice European city?

Quag should take the money. Juve players around 30 usually go into oblivion when they leave Juve. And unless they have a positive next season they will be even more forgotten and end up forgotten somewhere in Genoa. No need to show people that you still got it and go for the money instead.

Sure, but point being you're still earning crazy money in Europe too. I mean 2.5m euros a season is crazy money, to start with. It can pretty much buy you the life you'd imagine alongwith the satisfaction of being a relevant footballing commodity with a bit of fame and popularity as part of a culture you understand.
