Al Gharafa coached by Zico want Lopez and Quag in attack. They've apparently offered Quag an 8m a season contract while offering Juve 7m or so. What a monster contract. This really is a serious issue for any player. Earning that kind of salary in a less relevant league given that you're soon to be on the wrong side of 30. Wonder what most athletes would do. What would you guys do? Choose the money or try and stay relevant in Europe, while enjoying life in a nice European city?
omg :tuttosport: Quag-Lisandro and I'll go for all of their games :weee:

Al Gharafa is focusing on Fabio Quagliarella. The Asian club, who already purchased Lisandro Lopez and Nene’, is interested in the Juve striker. A fax with an official offer is expected: 7 million euro to the black and white club and a 3 year deal for the player.

Even GDM's reported this now.

Doubt he'd go. I think he'll prefer staying in Italy over England too. But even in Italy he has already played for Samp, Udinese, Napoli and Juve. So England maybe his best bet. Al Gharafa is too early to switch to IMO.

Lol for a guy like quags thinking about al gharaffa, it must have been an insane proposal.
Haha ya. Apparently, a private plane will be at his disposal at all times, whenever he wants to return to Italy. Residence and the perks of whatever salary he will be given. This really is a crossroads for most players. Also interestingly Quag doesn't seem to be bogged down by a relationship/gf/wife, who normally have a lot of say as to where a player should go or define lifestyle choices. Makes a decision like this even more tempting. I'm sure AlGharafa probably would be more tempting than say Norwich or Southampton or Sunderland or Lazio or Zenit, especially from the financial perspective.
