And to think people kept going on about how he was average, and that his form wouldnt last, he's not that good etc.

Fucking bullshit, we miss Quags big time. His pace, movement, heart, shots on goal and his mobility are all sorely missed.
My dream is for Quagliarella to somehow recover from his injury before the last game of the season against Napoli, play the game, and score the winning goal in the 95' min thats puts us in the UCL positions and fucks up their chances.

Aint gonna happen, but fuck I would love it.
I reckon we'll see him play again this season :xfinger:
I dont think he is, but I reckon he will do a similar job for us.
When poster by the username Vodka mentioned Matri is better than Quag, B_Aus replied with the quote above. :touched: :D

If we had to choose one, it should be Quag. It's evident by his absence how much of a difference he makes to this team. If we sign Quag, we have Toni, Iaq, Amauri and DP still. Obviously, Toni, Iaq and Amauri are not the greatest of strikers, but we have them. If we sign Matri and lose Quag, we'll still have to find another segunda as a replacement.
I can't wait for Qtube to be back!!
He's a good player, who was having a very good season with Juve before he got hurt. He was bringing more than scoring goals to the equation to this team. He was making the jobs of other players easier on the pitch just by doing what he was doing on the pitch. He was creating space for other people to do what they need to do. He was a legitimate scoring threat, and with that, comes the attention of the opposition to focus on him, thereby opening up the spaces for creativity.

It really is no coincidence that all this has happened since he got hurt. You saw the balloon pop on this team the minute his knee snapped. Everyone saw it. The team got deflated. You know why? Because his teammates knew exactly what he means to them. You saw his enthusiasm, his absolute joy of playing for Juventus. Tell me something. Do you see anyone on this team exhibiting any sort of joy anymore since Quag got hurt?

This was one of the few players they could have least afforded to lose, and his injury has been devastating for this team.
This guy has a lot of heart and determination. Even if he comes back this year and doesn't perform as well before his injury, his willingness to do whatever it takes to come back this season shows a Juventino character that a lot of us haven't seen around these parts in a while from the majority of the players.

You can tell this is his dream come true.
Can't wait to see him and Matri link up, could be quite a strike duo.

Ive missed this guy badly. Loved his goals and the difference he made for our team.

Qtube :sheik:
It would be quite apt if he made a return against Parma. The same team he was playing against when he copped the injury.

I hope he demolishes them and Napoli. Forza Qtube.
Where does it say he won't be signed?

I think his signing of a contract with us is an absolute no-brainer for us TBH.
I miss Fabio, he was great for us this season. I hope that he recovers his pre-injury form and that he will continue playing greatly.

I was very skeptical at his arrival here but he has shown his quality and he is now one of my favorite players.
Fuck Napoli, I am glad to have Qtube here :)
And he's not average. Jeez. Forza Quag!
Great news. Ive always liked Quags.

TBH our strikers arent really the problem. Our midfield and defence is.
Well, this season he was definitely one of the best strikers in the league before his injury. He is perhaps not a top player but he has undeniable talent. Quag's problem during his whole career so far has been consistency and this year he was finally consistent. Hopefully, he will reach that form again.

He was always one of my favorite players but I did not expect him to perform so well for us.
Don't be hating on Kobe; I'm sure had he been white and successful no one would be accusing him of rape!

As for Quag, he is most definitely a top player; not a star name, but a very solid option to have coming off the bench, or in a rotation with Matri and the future superstar SS that we are hopefully going to acquire.
Benventuo,Quag! (again)

One of my favourite players. Hope we get to see him score some Q-Tube specials with us again :)
Quagliarella: “I want to repay the club”

Fabio Quagliarella is back in Vinovo. For the first time as a 100% Juventus player, after the confirmation of his permanent switch from Napoli. He is also 100% recovered following the injury sustained on 6th January in the game against Parma.

The first week of 2011 is all but behind Quagliarella, who is eager to relaunch his Bianconeri career: “I have a great desire to rejoin my team mates in training – he stated whilst speaking to Juventus Channel – to start doing normal things again, things that I’d always done up until 6th January. I’ve had the opportunity to keep training whilst on holiday, with running exercises and strength work on the operated leg. Then, obviously, I enjoyed a bit of relaxation by the sea.”

As far as Fabio’s concerned, today could be considered as the first day of season 2011/12. The striker carried out some light training in Vinovo, under the watchful eye of Antonio Conte. “What did the manager ask me? Well first of all how I’m going and how the injury’s healing. He’s experienced this type of situation before and understands the reactions that can occur. Then he asked me if I’m up for the new season, but there was no need to answer that...”

Quagliarella is about to begin his second season in Torino. However, it will be the first as a player fully owned by the Bianconeri. Following his permanent transfer, the striker has another reason to do well. “This for me has been a mark of respect. It wasn’t easy to take this decision, given that I’d only played for six months. But the club believes in me and that’s given me great pleasure. I want to repay their trust. I hope that it’ll be a great season, both for myself and the team. I would like to score many goals, especially in the new stadium.”

To help Fabio with this task is new signing Andrea Pirlo. “He’s a great player – concluded Quagliarella – and I’ve always said that, even to him. He’s a player who can create goals at any moment, especially for our strikers.”

So much attitude.

Damn this man is so thankful about everything and the fact that he's in Juventus. So humble. He's becoming more and more of a fan favorite each day.
Looking bad-ass there :D, me love Quaggy :D
Same, Quag is one of my favorite players.

I guess they will offload him to make way for Rossi :sergio:
Too much talk of Quagliagol leaving and not enough talk of getting rid of Amauri and Iaquinta.

I hope we hold on to Quagliarella. Such a cool player.
Hopefully Qtube will stay and provide us with more goals to fap on while watching them on youtube :tuttosport:
Vargas is nothing more than one-dimensional runner.
Quag is a real fantasista + he can be a bomber, like he showed last autumn.
IT doesn't make sense to sell Quag.

Isn't it amazing, how fickle we are at Tuz? :touched: Came across these beautiful posts. I didn't know B_Aus was a Quag fan. :touched:

Ive always been a bit of a Quag fan boy, so of course Id love for him to stay here with us.

Pretty sure we will sign him anyway? How much was it that we payed for this so called "loan" for him?
My favourite one. :touched:

He's already got 3 goals. He works his ass off for the team and provides us with something different.

But, again, you would never hear a former favourite like Diego copping as much slack as a player like Quag...and we all know the reasons why.

Forza Quag, keep proving the haters wrong.
THe guy is good. Great workrate, scores a wide range of diff goals (long range, headers, tap ins, whatever) and seems very passionate.

He'll be signed at the end of the season.
ROFL @ the under-handed Quag criticism.
If anyone should be showcased to "Palermo and Udinese" its Amauri, not Quag. He clearly has the talent required to play for a big club, unlike that big oaf who hasnt scored in a year.
I love you Mr Bum Chin!
Really good player, works his ass off for the team. How I wished that volley would have went in!!!
:touched: :touched: :touched:

I never called him great, and very few members did call him great I think. But the way Quag is treated by some is plain ridiculous.
That's what I've been saying Brah.

I knew it. :)

I was thinking, what makes Quag a unique player, what is he good at? He's not uniquely good dribbler, passer, finisher or a target man. Thing is that his skill is that he's very versatile. He's a good enough dribbler, passer, finisher.
:touched:

Amazing how an injury/lack of continuity can change perspective. Really. Amazing.

For sure, in fact @Salvatore is one of the most consistent posters we have around. You see his older posts, they wont deviate with the wind, like a bunch of the hypocrites round these parts. :)

Good on them, they saw the light. They were blinded by pre-Conte mediocrity.
:agree:

Not just that, but baggio's over the top praise for him really annoys me. So I decided to start trolling him and the other fanboys in this thread.

Look at how worked up they get :) Nu work here has been a success. Baggio it's really cute how you throw these arbitrary and useless "ratings" of posters you like. No one cares.
