I already see some members on this forum getting all itchy and annoyed just by reading the headline. I would like to see their faces also when Giovinco is shipped away as far from Juventus as possible.

Well deserved extension, even though we can't seem to understand the logic and timing behind it, espesh since they've extended the contract only by a year anyway. Irrespective, its great news. Good call by the club, im pretty sure we won't regret it. :)

Quagliarella extends contract until 2015

Fabio Quagliarella will continue his association with Juventus for at least another three seasons.

The striker, who had two years to run on his previous deal, has put pen to paper on a one-year extension which expires on 30 June 2015.

Quagliarella extends Juve deal

As expected, Fabio Quagliarella has signed a new contract at Juventus which will keep him in Turin until 2015.

The Old Lady have been busy extending the contracts of their players and Quagliarella is the latest to renew after Paolo De Ceglie, Leonardo Bonucci and Alessandro Matri.

Quagliarella was previously tied to the Turin giants until June 2014.

The Italian international joined Juventus in 2010, initially on loan from Napoli before he was signed outright a year later in a deal which totalled €15m.

The former Sampdoria and Udinese man has had to be patient this term to get his chance in Antonio Conte’s plans.

Quagliarella snapped knee ligaments in January 2011 which saw him sidelined for six months.

The 28-year-old has scored four goals in 21 League games this season, but he’s only started in eight of those ties.
