Well, it was better, but not even close to be fantastic. And if Quag is the difference between being ok(cause thats what we were) team and bad, than its sad. If our team so much depend on one ok(good, not star, not even very good) player, than i repeat- its sad, very sad.

Sørensen with an 'e', not an 'o'.

It made a world of difference to have an athletic player who is quite good in possession running around in attack, instead two target strikers attempting that job.

U think he is more than a good player?
He's a good player, who was having a very good season with Juve before he got hurt. He was bringing more than scoring goals to the equation to this team. He was making the jobs of other players easier on the pitch just by doing what he was doing on the pitch. He was creating space for other people to do what they need to do. He was a legitimate scoring threat, and with that, comes the attention of the opposition to focus on him, thereby opening up the spaces for creativity.

It really is no coincidence that all this has happened since he got hurt. You saw the balloon pop on this team the minute his knee snapped. Everyone saw it. The team got deflated. You know why? Because his teammates knew exactly what he means to them. You saw his enthusiasm, his absolute joy of playing for Juventus. Tell me something. Do you see anyone on this team exhibiting any sort of joy anymore since Quag got hurt?

This was one of the few players they could have least afforded to lose, and his injury has been devastating for this team.

Thats the problem- he is just good, thats it, you said it. My point is- his injury is the reality check.

For the second part- no, i dont see.
Even if that is true, my friend, surely you can see the major difference in this team since his injury. I think that it would be safe to say that he was worth more to this squad than just his numbers. Whether he is World Class, Above Avaerage, good, or simply mediocre.

Before he got injured, we were having a fantastic season. He gets injured and we lose 4-1 to Parma, 3-0 to Napoli, we get booted from Coppa Italia and Europa League, we lose 2-1 to Udinese and Palermo, we hardly beat Bari and tie against Sampdoria and last but not least, we lose three games straight to Lecce, Bologna and Milan. The only good things were wins against Cagliari for 3-1 and Inter 1-0.

The truth is, he carried us on his back and he was the reason we were doing so well. Without him, the team fell apart. We have no creativity up front and we can't seem to score anymore. When he got injured, Marotta needed to find a replacement desperately and sadly he didn't.
Milos? I think Milos have dried up and it's one of the reasoss Juve got worse. At the start of the season Krasic was a new player to the Serie A, defenders didn't know how to deal with him and he used to run riot at the defences.
Quad was great, but he isn't the only reason for the good first half season by Juve.

Quagliarella provided a second big threat to defences, on top of Krasic, which is a big reason why Juventus was able to scare opposition and sometimes attack so effectively. During the match yesterday, after Krasic's great run from one penalty area to the other, if it were Quagliarella on the end of the pass instead of Matri, there would have at least been a shot at goal. Only truly special players, like Maradona, can do the work of several players. I don't think there should be much panic over Milos' form.

I still remember DN's face after Quag got injured. Even he knew what did this player mean to Juve. Well he should be coming in a month, right. So I guess we'll have to wait to find out if he is the thing we are missing at the moment...

Can't blame Quagliarella's injury on the shit season we're having right now. There is absolutely no guarantees that he'll keep his great performance in the first half of the season for the 2nd part.

Krasic was really great up untill mid-season and look at him now, same with Amauri when he first joined us.

Our defense is one of the worst in the league, the whole team is shaky and clueless. The problem is much bigger than just one player injury.
