Juventus Striker Fabio Quagliarella Did Not Walk Out On Napoli

Fabio Quagliarella's agent Beppe Bozzo has slammed Napoli after they accused the striker of turning his back on the club following his move to Juventus.

Quagliarella received a regiment of criticism after his switch. Walter Mazzarri claimed "those who wanted to leave did so," as he delivered accusations to the point of an axe amid all the discord.

But Bozzo has reminded the Vesuviani that it was they who approved the transfer.

"These are all useless dramas and I said this to Napoli. We no longer want to speak about it," Bozzo told Il Mattino.

"Everyone played their part in this, and if Napoli never said yes then the transfer would not have happened.

"People need to be honest. Fabio is not a hypocrite or a traitor. If he moved club then it's because directors and the coach wanted so."

Good thing about Quag that could contribute to our overall play is that he always tries layoffs and short passes instead of keeping the ball. He is the only forward we have who does that well and I think that could be beneficial for us to improve the play.

Shame on you looking at the positives of what this mercato has brought us, you should focus on all the negative aspects and disregard anything else.

1) We didn't have the money to go for Eto's and Sneijders of this world, we spent 56 millions, through sales we got 40 and reduced our wage bill by more than 20 millions, which means that our transfer budget was less than zero (at least that's what this article is saying, I didn't calculated myself, but it looks true). Can you name those dying players of other nationalities we could've afforded instead of Motta, Pepe or Storari?

2) We are no Palermo, we have different plans, we can't every year bring in 2 20yo stars from South America, give them 30 games per season, get them used to the league and finish in CL spots by doing that. Although I'd love to have Pastore and Hernandez at Juventus now, but that's Secco's and Ferrara/Zaccheroni responsibility. And I highly doubt a transfer manager from any club outside Serie A could've gotten his club all our loans from Serie A, whether he is bad manager or not, it just doesn't work like that.

3) Food is also cooked all across the world, not just in China :p At least it was a better example instead of the one Andy gave us. :D

4) Lanzafame is a sub, not a starter, he was on bench against Bari. No way we overpaid for Pepe's loan, ridiculous argument. Time will tell about Quagliarella, but it was a decent option, at least now it doesn't look bad, if something, he surely is worth the money we paid for him. Motta came for free, he's not superstar, but I don't think there were many other options, if any at all.

5) We should've sold not just Diego, but also Chiellini to afford Benzema and his wages, neither one of Coentrao or Rafinha we could've gotten on free loan like Motta, VDV is not a winger and Martinez is not Italian lol. If you respond again, please make it shorter and more logical. I'm not saying we had a perfect summer, but in the shit hole Secco&co left this club, we didn't have much of a choice whether to bring in Italian or Swedish or whatever nationality players.
I don't have time to respond to the whole thing right now, but I just wanted to note that Inter bought Sneijder for 15 million last year, while Van der Vaart cost around 10 million euro this year from Real Madrid. We could have bought Rafael instead of Martinez, while Milan got Ibra for free this year and a 24 million option so smart transfers are available, not to mention that if we had the money for Dzeko, we had the money for Benz. I just dislike this mentality of excusing our useless board for the moves they did because everything else is impossible.

The Martinez and Diego moves is going to be the icon of Marotta's term, buy crap, buy high, sell low.

So....wait, are you saying giving short passes is a great attribute? I think the only positive thing from his move is that his finishing is a bit better than Diego, but something as basic as giving short passes a plus? I would have rather brought someone from the Primavera to the first team than spend 5 million on a loan for this mediocre mid table player.

I hope each time Quag scores a goal or makes an assist he lifts his jersey where under it he is wearing a T-shirt that says "FUCK YOU VicCB" and hopefully he does that more than 37 times this season.

One of our numerous problems upfront is the fact that our forwards dont know how to keep the flow of passes generated from the midfield going or general lack of inventiveness. And yes I do think short passes and layoffs will improve our play since we look/looked inept upfront and very very slow. Quagy just like our previous transfers wont throw instant fear into the opposition but could be useful as he brings something the others simply can't. So I suggest you quit your moaning and give the Guy a fair go.

Good thing he has only over scored over 14 goals in a season once and never more than 13 in Serie A. :p

Mediocre player is mediocre.

don't know if this is true or not

He got into a fight with Hamsik and didn't get along with Lavezzi, he also had problems with the leaders of the dressing room
