Disagree. Giovinco is a non factor. Would prefer to sell him over Quag. Jovetic could replace him but that is not to be expected sadly.
Jovetic can go and suck an elephant's dick.

Not really, Gio would be easier to sell and would bring in more income than selling Quag.
Easier to sell doesn't necessarily mean that it's the best idea. Quag should be the one who's sold if we were to bring a top striker not because of the difficulty to sell him, but because he's the oldest one and the least compatible with our style.

I just hope Conte doesn't think like you :p

I actually hope he does. We had guys like Vialli, Ravanelli, and Trez. What's so unbelievable about selling Quag? We have sold better strikers and WC players in the past, so there is nothing unreasonable or unbelievable about selling Quag. In fact, all of our forwards should be up for sale, at the right price of course.

It's not unbelievable, I'd just rather get rid of Giovinco first. Maybe he's younger but Quags is better. Plus the midget is worth more and could give us the extra cash to bring a MUCH better striker.

Quags is a good player for the Serie A. He just doesn't cut it on nights like these, neither does Matri. Can't blame him for doing stuff no one can reasonably expect him to do.

I hope we sell him tonight. Just gift them to Genoa or some other team. Pathetic him and Matri, should have never started.
Sell is now gift? Nice. :)

I really do blame Quag. He could've and should've jumped 18 feet high to trap those long balls coming his way. Dunno if you noticed but for the little to no service he had tonight, he did ok. Don't see how he could be a reason for our failure tonight. Did you not see the midfield capitulate?

He should've been better in possession though. But then again, it's hard playing next to Matri when he stinks like he did tonight.

4 Cl goals in 6 matches. How can you blame him for tonight bro? The few times the ball actually came to him, he seemingly did ok. Matri was horrendous, but even then I can't blame Matri either. It's not their fault that everything behind them was a disaster.

He had some decent interplays but Matri was having an off night. Even still, the ball came to them few and far between. What changed after Gio came on for Quag? More of the same?! Long balls. With him having even less of a chance to reach it than Quag. Vucinic-Quag would be my call for the return leg.

Not good enough.

Would QUag start in any one of the teams left in the quarters, no. he shouldn't be starting for either.

Nor would Vucinic, Giovinco or Matri to be honest. ;)

Quag had a better game than Matri tonight, which doesn't tell much anyways.

It's amazing to read the reactions in this thread. From a hero in one week to a garbage player in another. But that's just the way our forwards are. They lack consistency in being terrible :frown2:
