Yes dude, because selling Quag for 10 million would be so horrible for the club's balance sheet.

We are talking about Quag and Matri here, not fucking Zidane and Vieri.

Oh, and we ended up selling those two latter guys, so go figure.

Without a good replacement coming this way, we would never let Quagliarella go in January.

It may be a different case in the Summer if we get someone like Llorente.

This clubs success so far under Conte has been built around its depth. Quag is in my view our best striker only second to Vucinic for the past two seasons. He seems relatively committed to his role despite so few starts. That's the sort of player you want to be able to come off your bench assuming we have a clinical center forward eventually. His finishing has improved this season and he's always had good technique. He's probably our most well rounded and versatile striker.

I don't disagree that he is our 2'nd best striker (might be overtaken by Gio come season's end). However, that in itself doesn't justify keeping him, considering the level of competition up front. He's not exactly competing against a bunch of world class players, and that's why if a good offer came in we shouldn't hesitate to sell him.

Thought he was average, some good some bad.

The way the blinkers come on when there is a chance to shoot no matter how rediculous is annoying. Instead of hitting from the half way he could have played a simple pass and Giovinco would have been in for a 1v1 with plenty of room.

Has anyone else noticed that he often sees a pass, but takes a while to get the ball undercontrol and still hits the pass anyway regardless if the opportunity is still there?Again very frustrating.
