So you have to judge how wise it would be to make a move like that for a Llorente vis a vis retaining one of Quag or Matri and going all out for a Suarez or Joveitc.

Llorente as a player, will bring so much to our playstyle, add so much dept, that its totally fine that he isnt worldclass. He'll make vucinic, marchisio and vidal, look like beyond world class.

Quagliarella is good to have because when he is in form he can change games, but also he is our best finisher, I also like matri but I just think if I could have either matri or quags on the bench it would be quags, matri is to much of a liability in my opinion, sure when he has confidence he can score but he seems to lose confidence really easy and he is useless when he dosent have confidence, I like both players though and I don't think llorente is that much of a step above quags and matri,, the most goals llorente has scored in a season is 18, we need a big 25+ goals a season strike, just my humble opinion

Llorente will in theory be a CF, but how well he will help adapt himself to Contes approach is a question mark. Him being available for free is however a great opportunity and negates the risk.

Quagliarella looks back at 2012

Juventus’ Fabio Quagliarella believes that 2012 was the year of his re-birth following his recovery from serious injury.

The striker was sidelined for six months after damaging knee ligaments in January 2011 and it took him some time to then break into the first team plans of new Juventus boss Antonio Conte.

“It was a special year for me,” he said when reflecting on the past 12 months. “I faced a dark period because getting over my injury was not easy.

“But that blow made me understand many things. It allowed me to see who loved me, it strengthened my character and my patience. I then finally re-emerged.

“I was more determined than ever and my hunger for goals gave me great moments of joy in Serie A and the Champions League.

“And it was great to win the Scudetto.”

Quagliarella, signed from Napoli in 2010, scored four goals in 27 games for the Old Lady in 2011-12. He has nine in 16 matches so far this season.
