When does his contract expire? :boh:

Tbh, I hope both Matri and Quag are out in the summer (along with Bendtner obviously). We can keep Vucinic, Gio, add Boayke, Llorente, and Jovetic/Sanchez.
It's like you do this on purpose.

And LOL @ Boakye. The kid will probably get co-owned and loaned for the rest of his career.

Do not B81. :ferocious:

Honestly, i think Quag and Matri are more assets than liability because while not being world class, they may have a certain standard, and thats good enough given how much we rotate. Also keep in mind, if you have Vucinic, Gio, Llorente and Sanchez, you are eventually going to lose two out of those four, coz theyll complain about game time or lack theroef. Quag and Matri will keep their head down and play for the team, while getting the job done fairly reasonably.

To me:
Vucinic, Giovinco, Quag, Matri and Jovetic/Llorente/Drogba.

Most well balanced line up. Theyre like our Vialli and Ravanelli :D

I hope we sell him soon. Can't we just make a straight swap for half of Immobile?
The medication wore off i can see. :D

Comparing Matri and Quag to Ravanelli and Vialli is blasphemy. The latter two are club legends, and could actually score goals ;)

Matri and Quag both lack consistency; I don't dislike them. I just don't think they are good enough, and if there is one area where we will and should be making substantial changes, it's the attack.

I don't believe that an attack of Boayke, Sanchez, Llorente, Vucinic, and Gio is unbalanced at all. I also feel that with Conte's rotation policy, and sufficient games, they are all going to get enough playing time. I'm sure Conte would prefer having a selection headache when it comes to his strikers, as opposed to deciding on who not to choose/play.

Sell both to raise funds for a top striker.

Then bring back immobile.

Problem solved.
