I liked Quags very much when we still justified his bad games with the injury. But nobody is bigger than Juve, so I really was on board with the idea of selling him. Now after his performance against Chelsea I really hope Conte gives him one last chance and with a bit of luck he finds his form again. I very much doubt that, but out of our 5 strikers I would be most pleased if HE finds his form and performs the way he did in that dark period under Delneri

Quagliarella on form is very dangerous. More dangerous than Gio in my opinion. Would be nice to have in-form Quags around nowadays.

I was just discussing Gio and you responded by talking about Quag?
It's the Quagliarella thread. It's more likely you came in here to compare them because why do you say that in Quag's thread? Just randomly?

Now there's a surprise.
:seven:

What happened to that little doggy? is he ok?
 I'm sure it's fine

The thing about Quag is, even if he hits form it's not gonna last for that long. He was never consistent. Bench option at best as Treq said.
I guess Del Piero was never consistent after he did his ACL.

Randomly? You guys spent like 2 pages talking about Giovinco. That's why I joined the discussion, jeez..
Whatever

Seriously, comparing DP to Quag. That's just low, even by Quag fan standards.
That's not low at all. Low is saying giovinco is Del Piero's heir. It's just an example that having an ACL injury isn't the end of the world.

Took one of Serie A's best players from last season only 4 games and already he's being labelled a failure and that he'll never be good enough. Sounds like something totally reasonable thing for Conte to do. Just give up and bench him.
.
This is true. Gio is not a failure by any stretch. What happened against Chelsea is a one off, there are some deficiencies in his game, but nothing to write off about. But the same kneejerking applies to a bunch of other players, including Quag.

I was kinda kidding :D

The injury doesn't change that much tho, I agree but my point was that Quag was never that consistent to begin with.

You're writing him off before even giving him a chance. Obviously a lot of this opinion is based on last season which should never be considered a yardstick given his situation.

Very unfortunate. People don't understand the psychological aspect and the importance of rhythm for a player returning from career ending injuries.

He was actually quite consistent in his first season here. He had a ratio of 0.65 goals & assists per game until his injury. Mirko last season = 0.49. Matri last season = 0.45.

What a Janna thing to say.
Nah, and even if were, it would be:

del piero acl
he come back from injurys
qaugg is contistent.
